Y/n:

I had been dating my current boyfriend, Andrew for a while now. He was great at first but lately he seems really distant. Jameson told me that he saw him with another girl, but Jameson never really liked him that much and always told me that I deserved better so I didn't believe him. When I asked Andrew he just said it was a girl from the class asking about homework.

I was hanging out with Andrew when he got a text, he said he needed to go, because he had to TA at his university. I looked at the clock, but his TA hours didn't start till 1 it was 11:30. 

I decided to call up Jameson to finish the movie. 

I was sitting there eating away at my popcorn, when I heard  a knock on the door. 

"Come in!" I yelled out, it was probably Jamie

I heard the open and shut and the lock click, familiar footsteps grew louder as the owner reached my door frame. 

"Whatcha watching" Jameson said as he jumped onto my bed, grabbing a handful of popcorn. 

"Corpse Bride" I reply

"oh my gosh, this movie is soo wholesome" Jamie squealed, I shook my head and chuckled at his remark.

We sit in silence, apart from the crunching popcorn, when he suddenly asked, "Where's your boyfriend?"

"Oh, um, he said he needed to go TA early." I said and he hummed in response.

It was around 5, and I was at the Hawthorne mansion. I usually go see my boyfriend before going back to my apartment in the evenings, but today he texted me that he had to do a favor for the teacher and wouldn't be home until 8, but me being the great girlfriend I am decided to drop off some groceries at his dorm even though I knew he wouldn't be there. Jameson came with me because we were gonna go get supplies for Nash's surprise birthday party that was happening in a few days. 

I opened the door and I saw a random girl sitting on the couch, her eyes narrowing at me as I looked at her. 

"Who are you?" I asked, "What are you doing here?"

"I'm waiting for my boyfriend" she scoffed

"Um, I think you have gotten the wrong dorm, I actually came to drop off groceries for my boyfriend." I said my anxiety rising by the second.

"No, I think you've gotten the wrong dorm, I've been here tons of times. I think I know which one it is." She said standing up and walking towards me. 

I put down the bag, my mind racing at the thought of what was happening right now.

"Look he's calling me." she said showing me her phone, the caller ID showing 'Andrew💗'

My heart dropped, my eyes wide, I froze. Was he really cheating on me? Why would he want to do something like this?

"He's almost here." She stated

"What? No. He said he wouldn't be back by 8." I say, my trust broken

"Well, he was lying to you." She said with a cocky tone, "Look I don't know who you are but I suggest you get out of here" she added

"What the fuck?" I say angrily, "Don't tell me what to do"

"Hey! I'm back" A voice said from the doorway, Andrew. I was so fucking angry, I walked up to him the happy smile melting of his ugly face. 

"WHAT THE HELL? YOU WERE CHEATING ON ME YOU DUMB BITCH??!" I yell in his face

"Wait baby I can explain.." He started

"NO, I KNOW EVERYTHING I NEED TO KNOW." I say absolutely shattered

"WAIT y/n, please let me explain. " He pleaded as I pushed him to squeeze through the door.

"She doesn't need your explaining buddy.." Jameson said, " And if i see you around her again, I'll break your face." 

I ran down the stairs, tears streaming down my face. I just wanted to get away from there. I ran out the double doors, and to my despise it was raining hard. My feet slapped against the concrete courtyard. 

"Y/N!" I heard Jameson yell. 

I turned back, "Leave me alone!" I yell with tears streaming down my face, the sky was dark but I could see the blood on his knuckles.

"OH MY GOSH! Did you fight him?!" I call out, "Are you fucking crazy?! You know how much trouble you could get in?!" 

"Someone had to teach him a lesson!" He yelled back 

"UGH! Why do you care so much!?" I say walking back ward, the rain water dripping down my face and my clothes sticking to me. 

Jameson was now much closer to me, "Because..I-I love you.." he whispered

"What?" I say quietly

"I always have, I couldn't stand seeing you with that jerk." He said looking down as the water formed droplets in his chocolate hair and forehead.  

I brought my hand up to his cheek, hesitantly at first, I didn't know what to say so I stood there staring into his beautiful eyes. 

He carefully placed his rosy lips on mine, and I kissed back, the rain poured around us but that didn't matter. After we withdrew from the kiss we stood there in each others embrace.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He said suddenly 

"huh?" I said, my brain lagging at the question

"Look, I know it's weird because you just broke up with that asshole, but I've wanted this for a really long time, and I understand if you don't want to and you wanna just be friends-"

"Stop" I say cutting off his ramble, "Of course I'll be your girlfriend, but I just need some time, so that you don't feel like I'm using you to get over him."

He nodded enthusiastically, and I giggled and pecked his cheek. He held my hand and we walked back to my car. 

Oh he was so pretty, even in the rain, under the yellow street-lights.
