The break had ended, and Shefali went back to her desk, trying to focus on her work. Her mind, however, kept wandering to the photo she had seen in the folder. "Why am I so curious about his personal life?" she wondered, shaking her head to dispel the thoughts.

As she immersed herself in her tasks, she noticed Aarav Sharma leaving his cabin. He walked around the office, talking to the staff with his usual stern demeanor and cold eye contact. Shefali couldn't help but observe him, intrigued by his complex personality.

Just as she was getting back into her work, Aarav appeared beside her desk, startling her. "Miss Roy, you might be thinking about that picture, right?" he asked, his voice low but intense.

Shefali's face turned red with embarrassment. "No-no, sir," she stammered, managing a nervous smile.

"Hm," Aarav hummed, giving her a side eye. "Fine, it will be better if you forget about it, do you understand?" he said in a commanding voice, his expression serious.

"Yes, sir," Shefali replied, her heart pounding.

Aarav quietly went back inside his cabin, leaving Shefali to her thoughts. She shook her head, trying to refocus. "I need to concentrate on my work and not get distracted," she reminded herself.

By the end of the day, Shefali had completed her tasks and felt a sense of accomplishment. She decided to inform Aarav about her progress, so she sent him the completed file and went to his cabin to update him.

Knocking on the door, she heard his familiar "Come in" and entered. Aarav was writing something in a diary, his focus unwavering. "Excuse me, sir, I completed my work," Shefali said, trying to sound confident.

Aarav looked up, his eyes briefly meeting hers. "So quickly? I appreciate that. Please have a seat," he said, motioning to the chair in front of his desk.

Shefali sat down, placing her hands in her lap to steady them. Aarav opened the folder she had sent and reviewed it, his eyes scanning the pages quickly. "Great work," he finally said, looking up at her. "I hope you prepare well for your exams. You've impressed me with your work, and I hope we meet in the future again. I'd be happy if you joined my company."

"Thank you, sir," Shefali replied, feeling a mix of pride and relief.

"I too felt happy to work with you, sir. Thank you for selecting me. I don't know how I completed this big project in one month; maybe I was just too bored," Shefali added with a light laugh.

Aarav's stern expression softened slightly. "Sometimes, a change in environment can do wonders," he said.

Shefali left the room, saying goodbye to Anjali and her other colleagues. She felt a sense of relief as she headed home, looking forward to her usual routine. After chatting with her parents and doing her nightly rituals, she fell asleep quickly, exhausted but content.

The next morning, Shefali woke up at her usual time and quickly prepared for her college classes. As she entered the college campus, she was surrounded by her friends greeting her.

"Bro, today we have college till 11 am only," said one of them.

"Huh? For real?" Shefali replied, surprised but pleased.

"Yes! Let's go for shopping," suggested another friend.

"Sure, why not?" Shefali agreed, smiling.

As they walked towards the shopping area, Shefali couldn't help but think about her time at Aarav Sharma's office and the mysterious photo. Despite her curiosity, she knew she had to focus on her studies and make the most of her opportunities, both at college and in her future career.
