Chapter15 : Lucid dream'

Taehyung: Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. I promise.

Eleanora was a bit taken aback by his words.

Taehyung: After all, you're my team member, and it's my responsibility to take care of you.

(smiles sincerely)

Eleanora: Don't worry, Taehyung. I can take care of myself. (laughs a bit)

Taehyung: Oh, okay.

Eleanora : i think we should head to our homes.

Taehyung : yes , its the time off.

Eleanora : (booking a taxi )

In her mind - ohhh i forgot that today is saturday and no taxi would be comming so today i have to take buss.

(Closes her phone )

Taehyung : are you going home by taxi ??

Eleanora : yes but now i think i'm gonna take the bus as today it's saturday . so i should go as the buss must be arriving nearly.

Taehyung : ohk bie , see you t tomorrow. (smiled)

Eleanora : yeah .

(at the buss)

Eleanora: (to herself )

I really enjoyed the day . i am feeling tired , but i have to work for this project and research as soon as i reach home, because maybe tomorrow we will start the shooting of documentary.

Phone ringing ././dsldmksdnk

Eleanora picks up the call

Elanora : hello whos this ,

....: eleanora??

Eleanora : Yes, who is this

.....: i am Taehyung. i was just making a group chat and was just confirming that is this your phone number .

Eleanora : Oh, oh,yess ,  no problem , i will also save your number.

Taehung : Yeahhh, ohk then see you tomorrow.

(taehyung home)

At 4:00 am

taehyung pov::

"I was enjoying a peaceful slumber after a long and exhausting day, when suddenly I was jolted awake by a thunderstorm that had invaded my dreams. The storm's intensity was so vivid that I felt my heart racing, and I let out a loud, instinctive scream: 'AURAAAAA!' But what was that? Why did I scream out that name? I've been thinking about it, trying to piece together what triggered that sudden reaction. Was it just a random dream, or is there something more to it?"

Taehyung: (hitting his head ) (checked the time on phone )

What 4:00 am only and now i cant go back sleep after this dream .

Taehyung pov : i got from the bed and rushed towards the washroom . and while brushing the teeth i looked myself and suddenly i called my name taehyung taehyung isn't  .

Taehyung : yes . (faked a smile to himself)

6:00 am

Eleanor: (yawns) Ugh, I'm still feeling so tired. I guess I didn't get much sleep last night. (thinks to herself) Weirdly enough, I was thinking about parallel universes yesterday...

(Later that day, at the office)

Eleanor: (entering the office) Hey everyone! What's up?

Kim Seeking: (looking up from her computer) Oh, hi Eleanor! We were waiting for you.

Eleanor: (smiling) Hi!

Taehyung: (standing up from his desk) Ah, perfect timing! We have a meeting at 12 pm today to discuss our documentary project on parallel universes.

Eleanor: okay , i  got it .

Taehyung: (nodding) Yes, it is! We'll be creating a timeline and task list to help us complete the documentary. As the researcher, you'll be presenting your thoughts on the topic and creating a presentation.

min yoongi : (thoughtfully) Well, there are some theories and hypotheses out there, but nothing concrete yet. That's why we need to explore this topic further.

Eleanora : (nodding) Okay, I'll get started on my research and presentation.  

(They all begin discussing their ideas and plans for the documentary project, with Eleanor taking notes and already starting to brainstorm her presentation.)

Eleanor: (to Yunjin) Hey, can you tell me where Taehyung is? I need to finalize this presentation and get his confirmation.

Yunjin: (thoughtfully) Hmm, I think he might be in his cabin, just outside the meeting room.

Eleanor: (nodding) Okay, that's on the 2nd floor, right?

Yunjin: (confirming) Yeah, that's right.

Eleanor: (taking her files and laptop) Alright, I'll go see him.

(Taehyung's cabin)

Eleanor: (knocking on the door) Taehyung, can I come in?

Taehyung: yes come in 

(Taehyung's POV): 

 I was a bit distracted and wasn't paying attention to who was at the door, but then I heard Eleanor's voice and quickly refocused. As she entered the room, I couldn't help but notice how she was juggling a bunch of papers, her laptop, and a coffee cup all by herself. But before I could even react, she tripped and spilled the entire cup of coffee all over the floor.

Eleanor:  Oh no, I'm so sorry, Taehyung! I'm really sorry!

Taehyung: (reassuringly) Don't worry about it, are you alright? Let me take these things from you. (he gently took the papers, laptop, and coffee cup from her and placed them on the table)

Eleanor: (relieved) Thank you...

Taehyung: (smiling) You should have called me; I might have been  there 

Eleanor: (apologetically) Sorry, Taehyung, I thought you must be busy with something else, so I didn't want to disturb you. I thought you might be distracted by all this... so I came, but I think I ended up making things worse for you.

Taehyung: (laughing) Is that all?

Eleanor: (curiously) Why are you laughing?

Taehyung: (chuckling) Because now this project is the only thing on my mind, and it's one of my dream projects that I'm working on. So, how could you think any work form this project could distract me . 

even though i was also researching about this only . 

Eleanora : yes , i also made the ppt and you can also see it (opens her laptop )

taehyung : (observed  all the ppt and came to conclusion ) yes it covers all the important  points  and topic we should discuss today . nice work Eleanora , keep it up .

eleanora : (smiles ) thank you

taehyung : yes i must say the rumors were right about you .

eleanora : what rumors ??

taehyung : that you are so much talented 

eleanora : thank you taehyung .

and then they talked more about the work .

Eleanor: (curious) Okay...but can I ask you something?

Taehyung: (hesitates) What is it?

Eleanor:  Well, I had this weird thought last night...what if we're living in one of those parallel universes right now?

Taehyung: (pauses, his eyes locking onto hers) What do you mean?

Eleanor:  Like, what if we're living in a reality that's different from our own? Maybe there's another version of us out there who are living a different life.
