Damn it, not this damn question again. Jungkook's parked right across from me. Can't utter his name, but these folks won't quit bothering me until I spill the truth.
Aurelia: Yeah, I have, alright? Dated someone. Won't drop the name, got my reasons.
Jimin: Hold up, Aurelia's been in a relationship? Oh my god, this is news! You two still a thing?
Laura: Jimin, shut up.
Aurelia: No, we're not. We called it quits.
Author's pov
Aurelia locked eyes fiercely with Jungkook, their gaze locking in a way she never expected to be stuck in. The intensity of the eye contact between Jungkook and Aurelia began to draw attention from everyone around. Jungkook was patiently waiting for Aurelia to break the staring match, but she wasn't giving in. In response, Jungkook raised an eyebrow, prompting Aurelia to finally look away from him.
Aurelia: Alright, moving on.
The game pressed on, everyone enjoying themselves after revealing each other's deepest and most embarrassing secrets.
Aurelia spun the bottle, and it landed on Jungkook.
Jungkook: My turn. I choose dare.
Jimin: Oh, Jungkook, I dare you to kiss your girlfriend.
Sana: Come on, that's dull. We've all witnessed them kissing in the classroom, not here.
Laura: You what?!
Sana: Seen. You. Both. Locking. Lips.
Jimin: Do it, my bro. (patting Jungkook's shoulder)
Jungkook: Fine then.
Jungkook rose from his seat and headed towards Laura.
Laura: Jungkook, not here.
Jungkook: Stand up, babe.
Jungkook pulled Laura up from the ground, securing her waist to prevent her resistance.
Aurelia's POV:
My eyes were meticulously tracing every move Jungkook made. From the moment Jimin dared him, he seemed flustered. As he rose, his focus was solely on one girl, as if she were the last woman on Earth. His eyes shone brighter than ever, triggering an uncontrollable flood of flashbacks for me.
Laura: Just a peck, okay?
Jungkook smiled and briefly connected his lips to hers.
Jungkook: Done!
Aurelia: Alright, you guys can carry on. I'll head back to the hotel. It's late, and I'm sleepy. Enjoy.
Jungkook watched her silhouette disappear until she was out of sight.
Jimin: So, shall we continue or not?
Jungkook: I think we should all call it a night. It's already past 2 am, right?
Laura: I agree.
Sana stood up, dusting off her clothes.
Sana: Yeah, so good night, everyone.
Time skips.
It was around 3 am, and nearly everyone had succumbed to sleep, except for two individuals.
Aurelia's POV
I couldn't find any solace in sleep, so I opted for a quiet stroll.
Aurelia: I don't want anyone to notice that I'm here. It's already late; no one needs to be around for our bonfire.
Aurelia settled into a chair next to the bonfire. Despite the cold, she chose to linger for a while.
Aurelia: I should play some music.
(She starts checking her pockets)
Oh, crap! Where are my earphones? Did I forget them in the hotel? What's the worst that could happen now?
*Looking around* No one is here; I'll just play a song on my phone speaker.
She started playing "River Flows In You."
?? POV :
I shouldn't have had that coffee. I can't sleep now. Let's go out; maybe I'm already bored.
???: Wait, is that Aurelia? Where is she even going? It's so late, and it's not safe for her to go alone in the forest. Is that girl out of her mind or what? I should follow her.
Aurelia's Pov:
(In her mind)
I love this song. I remember when Jungkook and I were together; he always used to play this song for me. The moon looks lonely tonight, even surrounded by millions of stars. It looks so lonely, so different. Just like me.
Aurelia: It's hard to forget about the memories that are tattooed on my skin. What have you done to me? What have you done to us, Jung—
???: Whom are you even talking to?
Aurelia: AAAAHHH, WHAT THE HELL!
