He's grown so much

Back at ateez headquarters:
The members of ateez were running around everywhere, one look at the and keeho could tell how stressed they were, even soul had bearly stopped moving around, leaving Keeho with no chance of talking to him.

Him and the others sat in the lounge room, Jiung was still past out on Theo's lap, while Jongseob and Keeho just watched everything going on around them. Keeho sighed when he saw soul go up to the one they called Mars for the nth time. He watched as Mars ruffled the boys hair in a motherly way, just like he used too. When the pair split keeho observed Mars, he was tall, but not the tallest here, he had some soft almost feminine features to his face, his long hair supported the feminine side.
Jiung groaned from his place, the three immediately looked at him. His eyes finally opened, a minute past before he went to sit up, theo immediately helping him.
Jiung looked around the unfamiliar environment.
"Are you okay?" Theo asked the younger, Jiung nodded.
"Intak?" He asked, the others slightly tensed
"Their looking for him" Theo explained
At their words Jiung looked so stressed.
"He will be okay hyung" jongseob spoke
"How do you know?!" Jiung snapped, Jongseob flinch at the sounding yell.
Jiung sighed
"I'm sorry, I'm just worried about him" he said after a moment
"It's fine, we all are" okay spoke, while giving Jiung a pat on the knee.
"Where's soul?" He asked after realising the younger weren't with them.
"Helping ateez, he's there" just as Jongseob spoke, soul came back into the room, this time talking too an even taller man, Keeho remember him, being called as UNO, like the game?
As keeho watched the younger boy he cared so much about, his eyes caught sight of the gun tucked into the back of his jeans, since when had he become so comfortable with a gun, he remembered soul hating the thing the first time he used it.
"He's grown up so much, just within two years" jiung spoke
"He has" Keeho whispered to himself.

A loud bang of a door sounded, looking around the stocky one, who had been trying to get to the ateez member alongside Jiung came storming out of the office, clearly very upset with whatever just happened, shortly after the captain came out and started gathering the members, before the joined keeho and the others.
And skinny member was seen with the one who just stormed out, and hand on the man's back clearly trying to smooth him. All the ateez members arrived including soul, who gave Keeho a small smile, before ridding his face off all emotions once again.

"Right, I'm sending a team of Yunho, Mingi, Jongho and Soul back out to look for them, Shota I hope I'm clear in saying you are just to drive the car, we can't risk anyone seeing you, I'm I clear" the captain asked, his voice was stern. Keeho looked at soul in worry, did this man scare him, why was he sending him back out, when did he learn to drive? All these questions filled his head, but instead of hiding away from the man, like he would've in the past, soul lifted his head high.
"Yes captain" he spoke with such confidence, but still in his soft voice, Keeho looked at the boy, he had changed so much.
"I want in on the mission" the stocky one spoke once more
"I'm sorry San, but your too emotional, too unfocused" keeho only know realised, the lack of code names.
"He's my boyfriend!" San snapped back
"Exactly he's your boyfriend, that's why your staying here, not just for your safety, but for everyone's" the captain's voice left no room for an argument, reluctantly the man nodded.
"For you lot, we going to prepare for you to leave as soon as they are back, we can't risk you guys abuse being noticed"
"Okay" Keeho spoke, it was logical to send them back as soon as possible.

Half an hour later keeho watched in the prep room as soul got ready to go back out, the younger was dressed in all black with a face mask and that god damm gold band around his around, he had a pistol laying next to him, with a holster for it and some knives. The younger seemed to finally notice his presence and looked up.
"Hyung?" He asked
"Hey Soullie" he spoke, Shota smiled at the nickname and signalled for keeho to join him on the bench.
"You okay hyung?" Keeho looked towards soul with such fondness
"I just can't believe you really alive, why did you take so long to come back?" Keeho asked, soul sighed softly
"For starts it took me eight months to recover from that day, and than I asked but captain said it was too risky just to walk up to you, so they made me train, eventually I started joining them on missions and eventually the captain said it was time to go and see you, I was so happy when he said I could finally see you once more"
"What happened to YooNa? We haven't seen her since that day" keeho asked, remembering the older lady who had lead the mission that day.
"She's here too, away on a mission at the moment" keeho nodded.
A knock on the door interrupted them, they looked up to see, Mingi? Keeho guessed
"Soul-ah, we're about to head out, meet in the hanger" the man's voice was deeper than Keeho was expecting.
"Okay hyung" the tall man left quickly.
Soul stood up to collect his weapons.
"Well hyung I have to go, but we'll see each other soon okay?" Keeho nodded, soul opened his arms, just like before when they would meet after class and waited for a hug.
Keeho smiled and wasted no time in wrapping the younger in his arms.
"See you soon my little baby" keeho whispered out softly, just so the boy could hear.
When they parted soul smiled at him once more, before running out the room to the hanger. Keeho didn't like the feeling he was left with when he watch the boy he saw as his younger brother leaving on a mission without him once more, just like two years ago when they went separate ways...
