Ch - 2

Sandhanam's POV

                  Me and the boys were in Rudra Pratap's daughter's wedding in order to provide protection for Rudra Pratap. I'm still a bit anxious about Varsha, about her whereabouts and her. Yes, she disappears like this without informing but still I care about her. It's just I don't show it.
          
              That's when Babu said that Varsha is safe and would be here in 30 mins with some information. He also told that there were some men in wedding enquiring people. I got suspicious and ordered the boys to hide weapons wherever possible.

I have a bad feeling about today.

Varsha's POV

                 She was really scared to see me and thought that I might harm her. She kept her distance from me. I then convinced her that I meant no harm to her and asked her for something to eat. She also gave maggi for the boy who was constantly screaming for food.
   
                 We both ate in the room where the boy was cuffed to the table. I was curious about her being nice to me  so I asked her about it.  Turns out she is Amar's wife and her name was Gayatri. I was really surprised that a man of his profession really wed someone that might get into trouble because of him!

   " Unmaiyava? Amar oda Vela therinjum neega avana kalyanam pannikitingala??"
I asked surprised.
( Really? You married Amar despite his job?)

    " Tbh, Avan enna Vela paakuran ne ennaku theriyathu... Avan ah pudichurunduchu.. athunaala tha kalyanam pannikiten" she said
( Tbh, I don't know his occupation. I really liked him, so I married him)

      This time I was even more surprised.
" Love makes people blind" she said

      I just nodded in response and said
" And that's why I have a 20 20 vision "

     She let out a chuckle and said
" Trust me, when u fall in love, you don't care about anything other than the person"

              Since I have never really had someone to live I just nodded and got up from my seat. I asked her about the exit and when she hesitated to tell me I casually took out a foldable knife from my shoe and pointed at her with a little smile. She then told me and I went out with the stuff I gathered. 

              In between all this I also confirmed that Vikram is alive. The boy who saw his photo on the projector told that he had seen him alive.

               I got out of the building and saw a road... How would I get to the spot if I had no transport access??

              To my luck I saw a guy in his bike coming towards me. I got in the middle of the road and stopped him and hopped in the driver's seat pushing the guy back. He was totally confused and kept on asking questions and even tried to push me. I just silenced him with a glare and my knife.

                 I saw the location cutter Babu sent me and started driving towards the location without looking at the phone since I knew the location very well.

              I called Babu but he didn't attend the call so I called Sandhanam directly.

  " Varsha enga iruka??"
(Where are you varsha??)

" Spot ku than vanthutu iruken. Enna background la ore paatu sathama iruku??"
(On the way. What's that noise in the background?)

    " Babu tha.. DJ pannitu irukan. Inga kalyanathuku sila per vanthurukaangalam so seekaram va"
( It's just Babu. He's the DJ for now. And there are some people in the wedding so hurry up)

    I already knew who those men were... Amar and his team.   " Aan seri . Aprm Anna! Innaku Rudra pratap ku saavu confirm pannitanga. Paathukonga"
(Yea ok. And.. Rudra Pratap's death is confirmed today. Keep an eye on him)

  " Enna solra? Unaku epdi theriyum?"
( What are you talking about? How did you know??)

" Phone la solla neram illa. Spot ku vanthu solren. Aprm innonu! Na illama party aarampichudaathinga!!"
( I'll say when I reach there. And one more thing! Don't start the party without me)

He ended the call .

I  accelerated the bike and he guy behind me grabbed my shoulders in reflex and he took it away quickly once he realised it and apologized to me. I didn't care and accelerated further. I felt the night air hitting my face and my hair flying freely. But there was too less time to enjoy this.

         When I reached the spot I gave the bike to the guy and said "Odu". (Run)
     
           This was enough for him to flee away from this place. I entered and saw the mystery man with his gang who held the bride with a gun to her neck. I saw Sandhanam with Rudra Pratap and I stood beside him.

          The mystery man asked for Rudra Pratap to surrender himself and he too was ready for it. But when me and Sandhanam stopped him, a man from the mystery gang fired some bullets and kept the hot metal on his daughter's neck while she cried in pain.

                  Seeing this Rudra Pratap surrendered himself. The mystery man who I assumed to  be Vikram, put a metal coller around Rudra Pratap 's neck. And made him sit on a bike while he took off with Rudra. I quickly took the gun which was with Anna and fired them ,while at the same time, a guy tried to fire at me and Anna took good care of him. My bullet hit the tyre of the bike.

              I confirmed that the mystery man was Vikram when he turned and delivered a glare at me. I stood there motionless with my hand extended out with a gun and I fired again. This time the bullet flew too close to Vikram's face and he didn't even flinch. He got down from the bike and locked the chain to the bike.

            His walk was menacing just as it's always been.
