Ch - 3

Varsha's POV

I took out a little packet containing cocaine and inhaled it. It hit my system while he was moving closer to me. I shook my head a little to get a clear vision. Once I got it I again took the gun which I dropped to the floor.

Shot him. But he kept dodging the bullets. I throwed off the gun once the bullets were over and looked him in the eye. He made the first move and I tackled him down. He was strong I won't lie. A bit hard to handle.

He started throwing punches at me and some hit me. I tried to stop him by grabbing his hands and I did.

"Never thought I'd see you again
Mr. Karnan" I whispered the last word.

Then the hell broke loose. I got a good punch which landed in my jaw. I still took down men as much as I could.

All this while Rudra Pratap was standing in the same place unable to do anything while some tried to harm him and some tried to save him. Amar and his team was standing in the corner watching the Chaos. Still, Amar was curious about the things happening.

But at a moment, Vikram once again held the chain (the one attached to the coller worn by Rudra Pratap) in his hand and said

" Nalla kaariyam nadakuthe... Inga ethuvum panna vendam nu paatha... Vidamaatinga polaye... "

( I didn't do anything cuz there was a wedding going on.. seems like you won't let me)

And he slit Rudra Pratap's throught making his family scream and cry. We stood there motionless with anger coursing through our veins.

Sandhanam's POV

Rudra Pratap was the only source to find the missing raw materials and now he is gone too .! I felt like breaking everything. I saw the men dressed in black flee away in their bikes.

I ordered the boys to follow them. And they too went away. I saw Varsha coming towards me at a distance.

"Unaku enna theriyumo ellathaiyum sollu " I demanded with pure anger laced in my tone and voice. ( Tell me everything you know)

When she was about to start narrating, I stopped her and motioned her to hop on the bike nearby. I can still sense the drug in her system. She obeyed me anyways and started narrating while I drove off.

" Veera Pandian, Rudra Pratap renduperaiyum konnathu Vikram. Karnan. Prabanjan oda appa" she said. ( Both Veera Pandian and Rudra Pratap was murdered by Vikram. Karnan. Prabanjan's father.)

This made shock settle over me and she continued. She said everything. Starting from ' her starting to dig about prabanjan's father after his death, how she started stalking him, how they met 'accidentally' , her finding everything about Vikram, how she got to know about Amar, how she strategically put a micro phone on Anar when she pretended to lose a fight, what she found in his office, how she went through all the things Amar planned after Veera's death, about Bejoy, about the government behind, about the mystery man being Vikram , about his plan to make a drug free society, about his teammates and companions and everything '

But the last thing she said caught me off guard.
" Aprm... Anbu nu sollu oruthana pathen. Trichy drug burst ku reason avanthanam. Semma-ah irukan theriyuma"
( Then.. I saw a man named Anbu. Reason of Trichy drug burst. He's so handsome you know)

Is she really my sister? I thought. She hasn't laid her eyes on any boy before.. it was new.. for both me and her.

"Enga paatha?" I asked
(Where did you see him?)

"Huh?"

"Enga di Anbu-ah paatha?" ( Where did you see Anbu?)

"Newspaper la" she said.

I mentally faceplamed .
"Bodhai innum theliyala" I said to myself.
( The drug still hasn't washed off)

But still she is my sister. Even though she is adopted I still cared for her.
"Varsha" I called out to her.

"Huh??" Came the reply

"Onnula.. veetuku poi solren" I stopped myself. ( Nothing. I'll say when we reach home)

I was driving towards where our gang chased them. I can see the lights of the vehicles and I was driving towards that. I got a call and picked it up. It was Elango saying that the men were escaped and they haven't left any leads. I was trying to make out a plan.

We needed to distract Amar and the government first. Vikram's next target is probably me. We needed to distract him too...
