Chapter 3

This takes place after the second chapter at night

Meliodas lays in his bed with his face stuffed in his pillow crying his eyes out. Why you might ask? Well because his crush was practically flirting with his friend right in front of him

"Honestly" a different voice says "if you like him so much then tell him, not try to set him up with with someone else"

Meliodas sits up "easy for you to say Elizabeth! You've never been in love!" He screams into his pillow

"And you fall in love to easily" Elizabeth replies "what do you even like about him" Elizabeth starts "he's dumb, a player, hes not that good looking, and obviously dense"

"He's perfect!" Meliodas yells "he's the one Elizabeth I know it this time

"You say that about every guy"

"But this time I know it, I can feel it..."

Elizabeth sighs "if that's true" she reaches to take something out of her pocket "ask him out tomorrow" she says while putting something in the blondes hands. She then puts on her shoes and leaves the apartment

"What's this" meliodas says opening his and to see what his best friend had gave him "movie tickets?" He says to himself "she wants me to ask him out out?!" He exclaims falling back on his bed "but still, maybe there's still a small chance he'll feel the same..." He mumbles to himself before turning to his side and drifting off to sleep

At school (Before class)

Meliodas walks up to ban who was standing infront of the vending machine "hey can I talk to you?"

Ban looks over to him "oh yeah, I need to talk to you as well"

meliodas blushes slightly "oh um you can go first then" he says holding his hand behind his back, why? Because he has the tickets in his hand he was actually going to ask him out.

"Well I first wanted to thank you for introducing me to Elaine yesterday. she's really sweet and I think she into me and I like her as well" he then chuckles nervously and rubs the back of his neck while looking away

Meliodas's heart drops, his hope flies away and he feels like he's just been stabbed in the chest a million times then hit with a bus

"So what did you want to tell me? Ban ask

How can this man be so fucking dense?! Meliodas thought to himself "actually" he grips the tickets "i-i..well I" he contemplates what to say next "the truth is..." He says fiddling with the tickets. He then hands them to ban "ask her out on a date!" He blurts out "ask her to go see a movie with you, I'm sure she'll love you even more then!" He says without thinking

"Uh thanks?" Ban takes the tickets "are you okay? You seem a little down?"

"What me down no never I'm fine infact I'm so fine that I'm gonna go!" He storms off

"What's up with him?" Talk about dense!

Elizabeth's POV

I watch disappointed as meliodas gives ban the tickets for that bitch Elaine. He claims to love him but still he refuses to take my advice and ask him out before the whore gets to him but no he just continues to set them up together and cry to me about it, he's lucky we're best friend's. And that Ban guy seems like a oblivious dense asshole and a player.

Meliodas stomps off to most likely the roof, I know this not because I'm his best friend which I am but because when he's mad or sad he goes to the roof and right now he's both.

"Looks like I have to go check on him" I mumble to myself. I sigh and begin to walk to the roof not before glaring at Ban. He gives me a confused look but if he can't figure out that meliodas likes him then he might actually be stupid, or maybe he knows and he's just playing with his feelings.

I walk up the stairs and open the door to the roof, not many people know you're allowed up here or they do know and they just rather not come up here, that's what makes this the perfect hiding place for meliodas. I walk over to the place he's always at which is behind the air ventilator and as I suspected he's there with his knees to his chest and his face hidden in his knees, it's clear he's crying. I mentally sigh and sit next to him.

"Go away" he said not even bothering to look up at me

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes!"

"No! You're my best friend I'm not leaving you!"

"Why are you even here! You gave me a chance to ask him out and like a dumbass I gave it away! Why did I give it away! And no matter how much I try I can't hate Elaine but I can't stop liking bad and I know it's stupid but-"

I cut him off with a hug "you are not stupid, you're a smart, kind, funny, loving person and if that asshole can't see that then you don't need him anyways"

He cries louder and just hugs me tightly "thank you....I really needed that"

"Anytime"

Elaine's POV

I was walking through the halls with no particular destination in mind when ban walked up to me

"Yes?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"Do you maybe like wanna go watch a movie with me after school"

He wants to go out with me like a date? "I would love to!"

"Uh cool I guess I'll see you later then"

Before I can say anything he left "I'm going on a date..."

Ban's POV

I'm still confused as to why Elizabeth, if that was even her name, was glaring at me like that. I mean I've never even spoke to her and it seems like she hates my guts, meh it's probably nothing. But then again meliodas was acting pretty weird when he gave me the tickets, I wonder why?

??? POV

I watched as Elizabeth was talking to Meliodas "oh meliodas my love, why are you crying" I say to myself "I'll make anyone that makes you cry pay for it I swear" I bite down on my nails and pull at my hair as I struggle to stay hidden, I don't want to seem like some type of creepy stalker who's obbsesed with meliodas I mean sure he's perfect in every way and we're practically soulmates but I've never even spoken to him so it would be weird to just say 'hey I like you' no I need to take it slow and easy. By first eliminating the competition but not with violence no no no, that would be to suspicious. I'll just make sure everyone knows that meliodas is mine.
