Camilla bolted out of the Creepy house, her heart pounding in her chest as she raced towards her car. But her frantic escape was abruptly halted when she caught sight of a figure lying motionless on the ground nearby.

Her steps faltered, and she skidded to a halt, her eyes widening in shock as she approached the prone form.

"Ah!" A scream tore from her throat as she beheld the sight before her—a woman, her mother, lying in a pool of her own blood.

"What?!" Camilla gasped, her hands trembling as she reached out to touch her mother's lifeless body.

"Mom!" she cried out, her voice choked with emotion. Despite their tumultuous relationship, seeing her mother in this state shattered Camilla's heart into pieces.

"Mom!" she called out again, desperately shaking her mother's body in a futile attempt to rouse her.

Frantic and overwhelmed, Camilla fumbled for her phone, her fingers trembling as she dialed 911.

"Hello?" Camilla's voice quivered with tears as soon as the call connected.

"Hello, ma'am, how can we help you?" came the calm response from the operator.

"My... my mom is bleeding so much, I think she's dead," Camilla managed to choke out between sobs, her voice thick with grief.

"Okay, I want you to try and calm down. What is your name?" the operator asked, her tone soothing in contrast to Camilla's distress.

"My name is Camilla," she replied, her voice quivering with emotion.

"Where are you right now?" the operator inquired.

"A creepy place," Camilla replied, her mind still reeling from the shock.

"Do you know where exactly you are?" the operator pressed for more details.

"Not really," Camilla admitted, her voice trembling.

"Okay, Camilla, please stay on the line while we try to track your location," the operator instructed calmly.

"Yes, sure," Camilla agreed, her breaths coming in ragged gasps.

"The ambulance will arrive in a few minutes," the operator assured her.

"Please send the police too. My friend is in danger," Camilla added hastily.

"We will, Camilla," the operator reassured before the call ended, leaving Camilla anxiously awaiting the arrival of help.

Phoenix's gaze bore into Georgia with seething hatred, her muscles tensed in defiance.

"Your last glare like that, and I wouldn't hesitate to splatter your brains," Georgia taunted, her smirk only fueling Phoenix's fury.

"Let me see you try," Phoenix retorted, leaning in closer to Georgia despite being bound. She refused to cower in the face of her captor's threats; this wasn't her first rodeo.

Having been caught before during her days of thievery, Phoenix was no stranger to captivity. But this time was different—the stakes were higher, and the life of her child hung in the balance.

Even as Georgia's hand struck her cheek with force, eliciting a hiss of pain, Phoenix remained resolute. She couldn't afford to show any weakness in front of her captor.

"You're tough, huh?" Georgia remarked, her tone laced with amusement as she observed Phoenix's stoic demeanor.

With a bitter laugh, Phoenix responded, "A lot tougher than you think."
