CHAPTER 10

(aadesh and brinda kashyap invites Hiya at their home for dinner as they wanted to say thanks to her for interview
And hiya accept the invitation.)

*AT KASHYAP MANSION*

(Hiya arrives at the kashyap mansion and is greeted by all.. except hrihaan as he is not at home yet)

Aadesh : Hiya , I'm so glad you could make it...

Brinda : welcome, hiya .. it's wonderful to have you here.
Let's head to the dining room..

Hiya : Thank you for inviting me.. it's a pleasure to be here...

(They move to the dining room and begin dinner)

Aadesh : I've heard great things about the interview... You did an excellent job.

Hiya : thank you, Mr. Kashayap.
It was a good experience...

Brinda : please, call us uncle and aunty... (With smile)

Hiya : okay aunty (smiles too)

(As they start eating, the front door opens and hrihaan walks in ..
He looks surprised to see hiya...)

Hrihaan : good evening everyone..

(Everyone wishes good Evening except hiya)

Aadesh : ree , you're just in time...
Why don't you freshen up and join us?

Brinda : yes , ree ... dinner is ready... go change and come back quickly...

(Hrihaan nods , a bit annoyed at being ignored by hiya and heads upstairs)

Hrihaan (thinking) : yeh tikhi mirchi kabhi baat karegi bhi ya nahi...jab dekho bas attitude dikhati hai aur ignore krti hai...huhh
No one can ignore HRIHAAN KASHYAP...Then how dare she(annoyed)

(Ruhi accidentally spills soup on hiya's dress and hand and her hand got burn as soup was hot)

Ruhi : oh no ! I'm so sorry,hiya.

Hiya : it's alright, ruhi.. it's just a little spill ...

Neela (aunt) : hiya come...let me help you with that...

Hiya : no please, I can manage you all continue with dinner...

Brinda: are you sure beta?

Hiya : yes aunty... I'll be quick...
Ruhi where's washroom?

Ruhi : upstairs on the right...

Hiya : I'll be back in a moment.

( Hiya heads upstairs, but in her distraction, she accidentally enters wrong room... she's looking down at her dress when someone comes from washroom, wearing only towel , they locked eyes for seconds ...)

?? : Hiya ?

Hiya : (closing her eyes and turning around) I'm sorry mr.hrihaan , so...sorry..I didn't mean to..
I was looking for the washroom..

Hrihaan : it's okay... You can use my washroom...

Hiya : no , I'll find the other one .. thank you..

(Hiya turns to leave, but hrihaan irritated by her continuous ignorance, grabs her wrist and pulls her back .... She collides with his bare chest and they lock eyes)

Hrihaan : why are you ignoring me , hiya ?
I've been trying to talk to you.

Hiya (strictly) : I'm not ignoring you .. I just don't have anything to say..

Hrihaan : I'm sorry if I've upset you , but can't we atleast have a conversation?

(Hrihaan tightens his grip slightly and hiya winces in pain ... Tears well up in her eyes from the burn on her hand caused by the hot soup)
