CHAPTER 21

*AT FLASH FEED*

(Hiya sat with anvi and shared everything that had happened. Anvi listened attentively, her eyes widening with each detail)

Anvi : I can't believe hrihaan did all that.. But it sounds like he's really trying now.

Hiya : I know. He's been very caring lately.

(Meanwhile, Hrihaan was in his office talking to aarush. He explained everything that had happened between him and hiya. Aarush smirked)

Aarush : Sounds like you're finally growing up, hrihaan. About time you treated hiya right.

Hrihaan ( chuckled): Yeah, I guess you're right.

(Just then, karan entered the room and informed him that the men who had followed hiya are caught...  Hrihaan expressions changed instantly)

Hrihaan (ordered) : Take them to the basement...

(Hrihaan and aarush made their way to the basement. The men were tied up, looking scared. Hrihaan grabbed one of them by the jaw with a tight grip)

Hrihaan (with anger) : Why did you follow hiya and try to hurt her?

(The men remained silent. Hrihaan's anger flared, and he signaled to aarush to throw cold water on them. Aarush did so, and hrihaan asked again)
Hrihaan: Why did you follow hiya?

(Still, the men said nothing. Frustrated, hrihaan signaled karan)
Hrihaan: Torture them until they talk.. (he ordered, and then kicked one of them  before storming back to his office)

(Once back in his office, hrihaan called hiya)
Hrihaan(softly) : Hey , how are you doing? Did you have lunch?

(Hiya, sitting at her desk, smiled faintly)
Hiya : I'm okay, hrihaan. I had lunch with anvi. How are you?

Hrihaan: I'm fine , Just wanted to check on you. Take care, okay?

Hiya (softly) : You too...

*IN THE EVENING*

(As hiya was working  in her office, her phone suddenly buzzed with a message from hrihaan. She blushed as she read his text)

Hrihaan's text :Come down quickly, biwi. Your husband is waiting 😉 Missing you♥️

(Anvi, who had just entered hiya's cabin, noticed her  flushed face and teased)

Anvi : Blushing, huh? Your face is like a tomato now!

(Huya shot anvi a playful glare before grabbing her purse and heading downstairs, where hrihaan was waiting for her)

Hrihaan: hey , beautiful

(And He handed her a bouquet of flowers, and hiya's cheeks turned red as she accepted them)

Hiya : Thank you.

(Hrihaan gently touched her cheek with the back of his hand and whispered near her ear)

Hrihaan : You look beautiful in red.
( He winked at her, causing hiya to look at him confused at first. Realizing he was flirting, she hit him on the chest)

Hiya(teasing) : You're being extra flirty today, Mr. Akadu kashyap.

(Hrihaan got shocked)
Hrihaan: What did you call me?

Hiya (cutely) : You once called me Tikhi Mirchi, but I didn't say anything, so now you can’t complain.

(Hrihaan chuckled at her explanation, which made Hiya glare at him)

Hrihaan(laughing): "Tikhi mirchi"

(Hiya again glared at him, and hrihaan repeated the nickname, hiya lightly hit him with the flowers)
