After walking for about 20 minutes we finally reached the edge of their territory. At the edge, I already hear growling. I know it's meant to intimidate me but I just saved one of their own so they could at least leave me in peace.
One wolf who was just a little bit larger than me stepped between me and and the girl that I saved. While I ignored his warning growls, I looked at the rest of my welcoming attendees. 3 other wolves other than the one between me and the girl. Judging from how they're acting, they must be warrior wolves. The aura the larger wolf was sending off felt like the aura of a beta so that's what i'm going to go with for now.
"Who the fuck are you?" The beta-like wolf growls to me telepathically.
"Just a passerby. What's it to you?" I calmly tell him.
"What's a goddamn rogue wolf doing around this territory. You should know that we could easily rip you to pieces in a blink of an eye." He growls.
"Ooooookaaaaaaay then. Rude much. If it wasn't for me, little miss wanderer over there would have been killed by some dumb ass hunters. But OK fine, next time she gets cornered by them i'll just walk right by her." I say slowly to him before starting to walk away.
"Wait please don't do that to her." i hear a small feminine voice speak up making me turn my head around to look t her. The other wolves looked at her like she was crazy or delusional. "It's true what she said."
"Look, if she wasn't my daughter then i'd probably be a dick about this situation. just leave us. Next time, i'll make sure to get our Alpha on your ass." He decides watching me walk away. Obviously not before pissing on a nearby bush just to piss them off. I run away as I escape the angry growls behind me.
I find a space not too far away from the edge of their territory and lay down to rest. I think about what I've done to one of the most feared packs ever. I know that someday it's going to bite me in the ass but I can't help but laugh at the fact that I did just disrespect their beta. The beta who is known as the most cold-hearted animal when it comes to outsiders. Anyone would pee themselves just at the sight of that man or wolf. But there I am just pissing on their territory and acting casually in this guys presence. I'm crazy and it's going to kill me in the future. Well fuck.
I wonder if i'm going to die young because of my stupidity. But then again with my circumstances, it wouldn't exactly be that easy to kill me. Trust me I tried many many times.
