Sweet Confessions

Prologue

It was just like any normal day in Ponyville, the birds were chirping, the sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky! All that was missing was the sound of a bubbly pink mare hopping her way around town.

Nopony in town questioned it, Pinkie was an out of nowhere type of mare after all, but her friends were quite worried. It was strange for the delightful mare to stay in her secret cave all day.

So there they were standing in front of Pinkie's room waiting for their dear friend to answer the door.Even Twilight came from Canterlot just to see her friend.

Twilight knocked "Pinkie are you in there? It's us, is everything alright?"

They received no answer and Rainbow had enough of waiting,"Pinkie, stop being silly and open the door, or so help me i'll bust it down"
They all glared at the hotheaded mare, but the door had opened, and their glare had received a grin in return.

Pinkie smiled her usual smile, which nopony else would bat an eye at, except her friends, who knew better.

"Pinkie, is everything alright, it's not like you to be locked away in your room, Darling" Rarity gave her a comforting smile, but all her friend's were clearly worried.

Pinkie waved her hoof, "Oh come on, guys you know me, I've been planning the next big cutecinuara! So far I've come up with a lot of great ideas!"

She let her friends in and they saw a great big bulletin board full of awesome party ideas. They smiled and chuckled a bit at their silly friends' antics.

"Oh pinkie, that makes so much sense, these ideas all look wonderful!" Fluttershy smiled looking at the idea with the petting zoo

Applejack hugged the pink mare, "Were glad your okay sugarcube, we were really starting to get worried about you"

Pinkie gave her friends another one of her amazing smile's "Awwwww, don't worry everypony, I'm perfectly fine, now I'll be there for our dinner!"

They smile, "Alright, darling remember your delicious cupcakes, you know we adore them!" Her friends brightened as Rarity spoke, and Pinkie giggled, "Of course!"

As her friends walked out of her room, Pinkie slowly closed the door and stared at the board, "You big liar, pinkie pie..."

She pressed her ice cream button and slid down to her secret party cave, looking confused and as miserable as ever. For a week poor Pinkie has felt off, and just couldn't plan the best parties or tell the best jokes, even pound and pumpkin weren't laughing.

Honestly Pinkie knew what was wrong, but was still confused on what this feeling was. It only made sense when she opened the file of one of her dear colleagues, Cheese Sandwich, she wondered where the stallion was, what exciting party he was throwing, did he think of her too?

She had no idea. She missed her friend and wondered when she'd see him again.

Pinkie walked and looked out towards all her party plans that didn't seem to be quite right. Pinkie all alone thought about her friend, the friend that made her party loving heart skip a beat, her voice taking over her, she sang.

"Mm, mm

Ah, ah"

"What would I give to live where you are?

What would I pay to stay here beside you?

What would I do to see you smiling at me?"

Pinkie smiled, for the first time in awhile

"Where would we walk? Where would we run?

If we could stay all day in the sun

Just you and me, and I could be

Part of your world"

Her heart skipped a beat and she ran to her balcony looking down at the town she loved so much, but out there the horizon was calling to her, and it felt so good.

"I don't know when, I don't know how

But I know something's starting right now

Watch and you'll see, someday, I'll be

Part of your world"

Her heart leaped with joy, but with all her thinking, she didn't even notice her cutie mark was glowing, and soon she'd go on a great adventure with said stallion that made her want to go that distance and who confused her heart so much.
