Doesn’t everyone love the smell of books?
The smell of either new paper that was just freshly printer or of the older ones , where one can smell the history pouring out of it?
Well, Felix for sure does.
As long as he had a book in his hand he didn’t care of he was sitting in a busy café, at home on his Couch or in the library like right now.
He just finished his recently lent book.
What kind of book?
Well that’s a question he'd rather not share…

Trying to Review the story behind his closed eyes one again he sighed in content. He was ready. As he was taking out his notebook, Felix quickly let his gaze wander around. The part of the library he had chose today, luckily wasn’t busy at all. Happy about that he finally opens the Notebook and with one last look around,  immediately starts writing.

Hyunjin was so tired.
Studying wasn't his strength in general and studying in a space without any noise to keep him awake, what else was supposed to happen? He only agreed to come here, because he was outnumbered during the vote for their studying location. But that his project partners would just leave him here, asleep on a table, he didn’t expect at all.
Bet it was Seungmins idea. That ass.

He only just woke up a few minutes ago without anyone here. He almost thought he got kidnapped because of the silence. But only almost.

Groaning he finally stood up to also get home. While stretching his arching back he swiftly looked around the big room.
Except books, a few people he didn’t know and even more books nothing really caught his attention.
How boring.
Yawning he took his school bag, slowly walking towards the exit. As he took a turn at one of the bookcases, in the corner of his eyes he sees a familiar mop of blond hair crouching down at one of the tables in the back.
He smiled. Of course he would find Felix here. The blonde spends more time in the library than at home.

Hyunjin and Felix weren’t the best of friends, but if you live right next to each other your whole life, it’s a given that you become kind of close. In school they were in different friend groups but even so they often did projects together and sometimes just hung out.
In Hyunjins opinion they were at least close enough for him to pull a little prank on the other.

Abandoning his plans of leaving immediately, he quietly walks around some of the book shelves to stand behind the unknowing guy. With one last mental high five to himself, he slowly sneaked closer, now standing directly behind the blonde.
The victim hasn’t noticed anything till now, wearing headphones and being to immersed into his writing.

One quick move and Hyunjins large hands were placed on Felix shoulders, giving the wanted result of a loud high pitched scream coming from the younger, normally deep voiced guy.
With how quiet it was, the whole library probably heard him and Hyunjin couldn’t help but snicker and the funny scolding he would get from Felix.

More like he expected to get, because as soon as Felix turned around to see the face of the person which caused his heart attack, he froze and his cheeks turned a more pinkish color than usual.
Felix just looked at him, then immediately tried to get up, looking obviously distressed.
“Hyunjin hey…you really scared me…how long have you been standing there?”
“Yeah I figured with your scream that my little surprise was successful. I was just about to leave after my friends left me and when I saw you it was the perfect opportunity! Don’t you think so Lixie?” he grinned teasingly.

At the latest now he would have expected Felix to scold him about his reckless behavior, especially in his sacred library.

But it didn’t come. Instead, after his reply, Felix visibly tensed up while laughing awkwardly and putting two fingers up to his neck. As someone who knew Felix since childhood, Hyunjin was very familiar with the meaning of this action.
Felix was nervous.
But why? Was it because of him? Did he say or do something so bad that Felix, the Felix that lectures him every time he did something against the rules, was now nervous around him?
“What a surprise really…” Felix was nervously looking around until his eyes stopped at his wrist.
“Look at the time. Yeah. My parents are probably super worried already. So I should go now.”
Still a bit perplexed Hyunjin replied “ Oh yeah…do you want to-“
“No need! I-eh…I still need to drop something of at Jisungs on the way back so just go without me. Bye.” During the short conversation, Felix already hastily packed his backpack, packing all his pens, books and notebooks back.
Or so he thought.
