"So, what else do you need?" Osamu asks his brother, who was still admiring the suit he's wearing. This suit is oddly familiar. He thinks. Osamu sighs, tapping Atsumu's shoulder.
Atsumu looks back at him. "Come on, let's pay for the suit." Osamu says, pulling out his debit card. "Hold on, why is that the card you're using?" Atsumu questions, facing his brother completely. "Because I can afford it..?" Osamu replies, dragging the 'it' word and placing his hand on his waist.
"That'll be fifty thousand yen, sir." The cashier informed them. "What? Ah, nonononono---" Before Atsumu could protest any longer, Osamu already swiped his debit card. "Thank you so much for shopping with us." The cashier smiles awkwardly.
Atsumu elbowed his brother, giving him the what the fuck? look. Osamu gives him a smile, taking the shopping bags from the counter.
"You should get some sleep, you have a big interview tomorrow." Osamu advised, placing the newly washed dishes into the drying rack. Atsumu yawned, stretching his arms up in the air. "Yeah.. I'll hit the bed right now. Good night, 'Samu." Atsumu bids. "Good night, 'Sumu."
Beep..
Beep..
Riiiinnnggg!
Riiiinggg!!
Atsumu groaned, tossing and turning in his bed before pressing the 'stop' button on his alarm. The sun hasn't risen yet but the view from his window looks serene.
He stretched his arms, arching his back slightly as he sat up.
"Really hope this day goes well," Atsumu mumbles, dragging the word 'really'. He rubbed his eyes and got out of bed, unprepared for the day he was about to have.
"Our hiring manager will call you after the interview. We just need to make sure you are fit for Sakusa Kiyoomi's preferences as an assistant." The representative says. Atsumu sighs, "However your résumé is in accordance to our company standards." He adds, giving Atsumu a comforting smile.
"Thank you so much, sir." Atsumu replies, putting his hand out. The representative warmly accepts his hand and shakes it firmly.
Atsumu stands up from his seat and bows his head before taking his leave. His heart was about to pop out of his chest, he was anxious. He heaved a deep breath and breathed. He survived the interview. Probably?
Perhaps the representative was just being nice to me, but it sounds so cool that Kiyoomi has preferences for an assistant.. Who am I kidding, no doubt he has high standards for such a position. Atsumu's inner voice tells him, his eyes fixating on a vending machine just a few feet away from him as he just stood still in his spot outside the company building.
He continued to walk, still immersed in his reverie.
Atsumu let out a small grunt, bumping into the guy in front of him. "Oh, I apologize sir." He say bluntly, bowing his head.
The man bowed his head slightly, not speaking but gave Atsumu a soft smile. He couldn't see the man's face very clearly, the grey hoodie draped over his head kept it hidden. He wore black slacks with formal dress shoes. But the flaps of fabric hanging under his hoodie says he's wearing a suit underneath.
"It's alright," The man finally says, keeping his voice low and bid his goodbye. He was rushing to the back of the building when his hair got caught in the wind.
It was.. black and curly. Atsumu's mouth went agape.
"Don't tell me it's who I think it is.."
