In a startling suddenness, a thin panel of stars appears before her and in each of the millions of stars is a life. Her eyes widen in amazement as she lifts a nimble hand to touch them. As her hand grazes along the panel, - which is much larger than she had thought - a shimmering dust follows the trail of her four fingers, and the lives of others flash across her eyes. A gleam of light seems to absorb her head as she takes the place of hundreds of beings. Elves and humans.
She finds that the entire panel is filled with the lives of every being on the planet. She even finds many that she hadn't known to exist. Soon she begins to shift through the lives, organizing them and searching for a certain few. First she finds her mother, whose mind is clouded and obscured with strange flashes of red light. Then she finds her sisters, Elerbreth, Lilith and Amaya. She takes the time to view their minds, peer carefully into their secrets. She even tries to communicate but finds she is speaking through their mouths.
She has discovered that she is not only seeing their minds, but she is controlling them, like a puppeteer. Elara will soon learn that what is mere minutes for her, are days for others. That those who have felt her in their head have deemed her a goddess. She is worshiped and prayed to. Soon she becomes the foundation of the Star Touch elves and is told to young Elves as a fairy tale.
But for Elara, she is not a goddess, she is not to be worshiped, she is merely trapped in her own mind, bending the thin glass that is reality and snapping it back into place. She has no idea how to escape herself, and what's worse, she knows what her father intends to inflict on her world, and he is the only being whose mind she cannot enter.
So there she sits, alone and tired, waiting for the day when she may see her sisters again. Hoping the world will not end before she has the chance to save it. .。.:*☆
