"i'm serious, i tried everything" i say stressfully.

"calm down, you're about to rip my hair out" y/n says to me. "should we tell your friends?" she mentions almost too nonchalantly for my liking.

"are you insane?" i tell her seriously.

"what? they could help. they seem nice enough" she shrugs and continues eating her lunch.

"this can't be our only solution" i sigh in frustration.

"let's just try it and see how they react" she concludes.

heeseung, jake, jungwon and niki laugh in unison.

"man! this was really one of your best jokes!" niki says while still laughing.

y/n and i stand by each other awkwardly while we wait for them to stop laughing.

do they really think i would drag them out to the rooftop for this?

"wait- are you serious?" heeseung is the first to notice our seriousness.

"you really don't think it's me in her body? you think she would agree to this for no reason?" i point at her in my body.

"so, you're saying that you guys just switched bodies on this one random day?" jake frowns trying to think about it.

"we woke up yesterday in each other's bodies and we don't know why" she explains further as she crosses her arms.

"how come it's the two of you guys? it would be more believable if it was between us guys" niki points out.

"i don't like this any more than he does" she points at me and eyes me up and down in annoyance.

"and you said you're in our class?" heeseung scratches his head trying to remember her.

"dude, she sits two rows behind you" jungwon shakes his head. "let's say you two switched bodies. jay," he turns to look at me in her body. "when's niki's birthday?" jungwon tries to test me.

"december 9" i reply monotonously.

"oh my god, jay!" niki stands up and grabs my shoulders searching for something in my eyes.

"we just need help on how to turn back. i certainly cannot stay like this" i state simply.

"as much i like my life like this, it isn't fair to him i guess..." she looks away while saying that.

"and y/n didn't have anything to do with this?" jungwon questions, directing his gaze to her.

"... are you serious?" she asks back. "i would never turn into a guy willingly!" she huffs.

"okay, that's fair. so, we're supposed to brainstorm ideas? have you looked at the internet?" heeseung suggests.

"nothing useful came up when i searched, maybe if we do it together we can find something" i reply to him.

"this is so weird, we're talking to jay through a girl" niki is still in shock i guess.

"i have a name, you know?" she glares at him.
