Just In The Moment

Chapter 2

Camila's P.O.V

Before I knew it, his lips were on mine and it felt

amazing. Our lips moved in sync, but we didn't stop. His lips were so soft.

"I think it's time for me to go Isaiah." I said as we stopped.

"Umm... Ok. Do you want me to walk you home?" he asked confused.

"No it's okay" I said trying to make it to the door as soon as possible.

" Umm... Okay." He said as he trailed off.

"Bye." We said at the same time. Thank God I only lived two houses down so he didn't have to walk me home.

When I got into my house I thought that everybody was asleep but I guess I was wrong because when I got to the third step from the bottom of the stairs, my brother Anthony caught me red-handed and was just smiling from ear to ear.

"What?" I asked him being annoyed.

"Nothing I am just happy to see my little sister growing up." He said.

"What do you mean?" I said curiously.

"I mean sneaking out, coming home late, and all that other good stuff.'' He said devilishly.

"First of all I wasn't sneaking out, and second of all, what time I come home isn't your buisness Anthony!" I said trying not to wake my parents.

"But I think it's Mami and Papi's buisness."He said.

"Please Anthony don't tell Mami and Papi." I asked him pleadingly. "I'll do anything." I said.

''Ok. I need you to cover for me Friday night."He said calmly.

"But me and Daniella are going to the movies on Friday."I said.

" Well I don't think that Mami and Papi have plans to hear about you coming in late."He said.

"Okay. Fine I'll do it." I said giving up.

"Thanks sis your the best.'' He said then kissed my cheek.

''Yeah whatever." I said while I rolled my eyes.

Next Day( at school)

"Hey Camila, where did you go yesterday after the game?" Shanae asked me.

"I went to eat with the team and then, Isaiah took me home." I said that because I didn't want to tell her that I went to Isaiah's house, we kissed, and that I basically wimped out and left.

"Are you sure that's all that happened?" Shanae asked flirtatiously.

"Yeah." I said confused.

"I know your lying Camila" She said looking disappointed.

"How did you know?" I asked curiously.

"Because we've been friends since we were born and I think I would be able to tell if you were lying or not."She said. She was actually right because our moms were roommates in college, so they have been bestfriends ever since. They got pregnant around the same time and they went everywhere together and did everything together.My aunt is like my second mom and I will always love her.

The bell rang and i was brought back to earth and when I noticed that Daniella was looking at me strange and saying"Earth to Camila!"

"huh" I said.

"Well we have to go to class before we're late and you know how Mr.Young is." I said.

When we walked into Mr. Young's class, Isaiah was sitting with Michael, and Alejandro. Me and Shanea walked in and as soon as I sat down Isaiah's eyes were on me and when I looked up, our eyes met and never left each others sight.

''Camilia, whats going on with you and Isaiah?" She said looking confused.

"I was going to wait til' the right time to tell you this but I have to now." I said hesitant.

"What is it?' She asked looking scared.

"Me and Isaiah kissed"

"What!?" She yelled making everybody look at us, including Isaiah.

"Shut up!" I whispered.

"Sorry. You and Isaiah kissed? " She asked shocked.

"Yeah, after the game yesterday we did go to get pizza but we left because Michael got into it with a waiter me and Isaiah went to his house and played cards and then it happend." I said embarrassed.

There was awkward silence for a couple of seconds.

"Did you kiss him or did he kiss you?" She asked curiously.

"He kissed me. why?" I asked wanting to know what was going on in her head.

"I'm just thinking"

"Oh god you and thinkin' is a bad combination." I said.

"Shut up. I'm for real." she said looking serious.

"Okay what are you thinking about?"I asked.

"Well if he kissed you first, does that mean that he's liked you from the beginning?" she asked.

Right when she asked me that question the bell rang for Lunch and I was left thinking, has he liked me from the beginning or was it just in the moment?
