When Wanda became aware she couldn't open her eyes and could barely move. She felt as if she was floating and knew that she was not alone here, wherever "here" was. She could feel it, a feeling she had not felt since her twin took his last breath!
He was here!
He was with her again!
After so long she finally felt complete! In the way she only did with her twin.
She had always known that she was not supposed to live without a twin, she needed the connection, the stability, an anchor to keep her from drifting away in the chaos that had claimed her!
Now that she was with her twin, the burning pain in her soul was gone. The place that death had cut so that it could claim her other half had been mended.
She could feel him trough the connection she shared with him as his twin. She felt his mind and soul, and although his mind didn't have any thoughts, he was aware of her, he knew she had been with him since he came into awareness. His soul felt so bright and so strong, She could feel it trough their bond, a bond she had missed for so long.
It didn't matter that she could not open her eyes or move much, as long as she had her twin Death was not so bad.
Wanda didn't know how long she spent just basking in her twins presence, dancing with him to the strange drumbeat that came from above them or listening to a muffled voice that brought both of them comfort. For the first time in what felt like forever, she have had no worries, no powers, no pain, she could just be...
How ironic it was! She felt more peace in death than she ever did in life.
But like all good things in her life, The peace was disturbed by the disappearance of the odd liquid they were floating in and the walls closing in.
"I didn't even know there was any walls" she thought to herself as she was being pushed from her home!
She felt her twin grab her foot, wherever she was going he would come too. She would not lose her twin again. She could not live like that again, alone... she did not want to!
She should've known she would not get a peaceful afterlife, she who tried to kill an innocent child for power and hunted her trough the multiverse. The idiot that picked up a book called the DARKHOLD and thought it could teach her magic, like anything good could come from something that had that name and looked as if it had been dragged to all the hells in existence. God she could hear Pietro's sarcastic "you didn't see that coming?"
A muffled scream brought her back to the situation, she didn't understand what was happening, she was being pushed out of her comfortable afterlife, into a tunnel. She could not see well but she could see a light.
A light at the end of a tunnel? Was she in limbo? Was she being pushed to the afterlife? Or pushed to hell? Its not like she didn't deserve punishment for her crimes, the people she had tortured with her grief in Westview, the people she had killed across the multiverse.
She had been a monster who-
"I can see the head mrs. Midoriya! You need to push!"
"What the hell! What is going on? Am I... am I being... NO! Am I being born? What? How? Why?"
"One last push! One last push and you will have your Child in your arms!"
"Oh god! I am! No! No! Nooo! Punishment! This is definitely punishment..."
With a strong push and a loud scream Inko Midoriya finally heard a loud cry, and slumped back on the bed, her baby was finally here—
"Ahhh!" Inko screamed the pain overtaking her again.
The doctor handed the still crying baby to a nurse so he could check what was wrong with the mother. The doctor lifted his head back up again after finding out what was happening "Mrs. Midoriya I'm going to need you to push again! There is another baby coming!"
"What!?" Inko screams in pain and confusion, they had told her it was only one.
Wanda felt as confused as her new ?Mother? Sounded... everything about this situation confused her, she died... and now she is born? She had never believed in rebirth, she had been Catholic as a child, but lost her faith over the years. And whatever leftover faith she had, was gone the moment her twin died.
Wasn't rebirth from Buddhism? Or was it hinduism?? Some other ism??? She didn't even know... This is why children should go to school and not live in war-torn countries!!!
Her thoughts where interrupted buy her new mother Midoriya? Was that her name? Eh, mama-ya let out a loud scream that was soon joined by a baby's cry.
"Its a boy!" The doctor told mama-ya when her twin finally joined them.
"A boy! And the first twin?" Mama-ya asked looking for her first born.
"The older twin is a beautiful little girl" the nurse that was done cleaning and checking her over said and handed her over to the new mother.
The woman holding her, her new mom had dark green hair and green eyes that were looking at her with so much love. Love that she could see despite the abnormal amount of tears she was crying, an amount that increased when she was handed her twin brother.
"My precious babies! Mama is so happy to finally meet you both!" Her teary eyes shining with love even when she looked tired beyond words, this woman who brought her and her twin into this world.
The quiet tearful first meeting between mother and children where interrupted by the door banging open.
"Let me see my godchild!" A woman shouted as she barged into the room with a slightly embarrassed man that had a baby strapped to his chest following after her.
"Godchildren! A boy and a girl!" The smile on Inko's face was so big it almost looked painful.
"Twins!" the man with the baby exclaimed happily.
"Let me see my goddaughter!" The bold woman said with a big smile on her face, she always wanted a daughter, but she ended up with the grumpy boy instead. At least inko gave her a daughter! Inko never disappointed her!
Mitsuki quickly grabbed the baby girl from inko. "Hello little one, I'm your aunty Mitsuki! Oh! Look at this beauty! She has green eyes like you inko and Hisashi's dark hair! That pretty evergreen is going to make all the boys fall for her!"
Masaru looking at the little baby over his wife's shoulder hoped not! Since Hisashi was abroad it was his job to keep her safe. He would have to tell katsuki and her twin to watch out for her, she was so small and adorable. Maybe she would have a boy repelling quirk? Or maybe have her fathers quirk and could sett the boys on fire!
Looking over at the baby Inko was holding "this one has your eyes and hair!" Masaru noted thanking his lucky stars that this one was a boy! A adorable boy sure! But he probably wouldn't have to worry so much about him being chased by boys... he hoped!
"What are you going to name them?" Mitsuki asked as she handed the baby girl back to inko and picked up the little green bean.
"I was thinking Izuku for the boy and Akari for the girl" inko said as she gazed at her little girl, she was so beautiful.
"Akari and Izuku, Baby girl and little bean plus my little monster are going to be good friends." Mitsuki cooed excitedly.
"Katsuki, meet your new friends Akari and Izuku." Masaru said gently while stepping closer and showing both babies to the grumpy one strapped to his chest.
Wanda or now Akari still confused about her rebirth situation wasn't sure what to feel. She had died, she knew that she died, but now she was alive again with a new family! A mother and a twin! She didn't know how to handle this, so she closed her eyes and went to sleep. Rebirth was exhausting...
