NASA sinapupunan pa lang ako ni mommy, nakaplano na ang buhay ko. Lahat. Tila wala akong karapatan magreklamo at tumanggi.
I remembered when I'm just seven years old, my mom enrolled me in a private ice skating class. I tripped myself when I lost my momentum. I was about to cry when I found my mom standing in front of me. She was just there... looking down at me, and got no plans on helping me to stand. I couldn't see any worry from her either.
"Stand up. Dry those tears of yours." I did what she told me, I carefully wipe my tears away using my tiny hands and forced myself to stand alone.
"Remember, not every time someone will be there to help you. So you must learn how to help yourself." after that she told me to continue practicing.
"Three mistakes in your english subject? This should be easy for you!" I was only ten that time, pagkauwi kaagad ni mommy galing hospital ay dumeritso siya kaagad sa kwarto ko para tignan ang exam papers ko.
"I'm sorry po." that's all I said. I don't want to explain further since hindi naman na mababalik yung three points. When it comes to academics, she's very strict. Simula nun ay inenroll niya na ako sa isang advance class. Pagkatapos ng klase ko na eight am to five pm, ay susundoin at ihahatid ako para sa advance class ko na six to nine pm. Yan lagi ang routine ko hanggang senior high.
"Fine Arts?! You want to study Fine Arts? Do you think madali lang makahanap ng stable na trabaho kung magfa fine arts ka?! No! You'll take a pre-med course, and that's final!"
Five months before I graduate in Senior High, I tried my luck on telling my mom that I want to study fine arts. Pero sigaw lang ang natanggap ko.
I was busy reviewing for my upcoming entrance exam in Don Luis when I heard few knocks and later on opened my room. I saw my dad holding a piece of paper. He went near me and hand it to me.

"Dad?" puzzled, I quickly turned to face my dad.
"I heard you want to pursue Fine Arts."
"But... mom won't agree to this." nakayuko kong sabi. Totoong hindi ako papayagan, ilang beses ko nang sinubukan kumbinsihin si mommy pero ganun pa rin ang sagot niya.
"Take both entrance exams, if you'll pass Fine Arts. Ako na bahala sa mommy mo." I immediately stood up and hugged my dad.
"Thanks dad." crying. I could feel my dad chuckling while tapping my back.
"Thank also your brother." Nalilito ko syang tinignan. But he just smiled, meaning he doesn't want to talk any further.
"This is your first and last chance Miracle." hindi rin nagtagal ay lumabas na rin si dad.
Tinignan ko ang dalawang application form na nasa harap ko.
