As she was walking to school, her phone kept ringing.
She reached into her bag and picked up the phone.

- Hey Winter. Is everything alright? - Valentina asked her.

- Hi Val, you need to hurry up! Come on! Chop Chop! - She said.
Winter hung up right after finishing talking.
After she hangs up the call, Valentina is left with a sense of anticipation and curiosity.
As she entered the bustling school grounds, her eyes scanned the familiar faces of her classmates, her gaze sharpened by the thrill of the imminent surprise. Valentina weaved through the corridors, searching for Winter that was nowhere to be found.
Soon the bell rang, and everyone went to class.

Valentina waited for Winter at their desk, her anticipation gave way to a growing sense of concern.

- Hey Val! Sorry for disappearing on you earlier. I had to take care of something. - Winter explained.

- I was worried when you didn't show up for class. Is everything okay? - Valentina asked concerned.

- Everything's fine. But enough about that. I've got some news. - She answered.
Intrigued by Winter, Valentina settled into her seat, a spark of excitement was igniting in her chest.

- The teacher gave us a list before class today, about who we're gonna do an assignment with. - She said.
Sensing Valentina's growing curiosity, Winter's expression shifted.

- Here, let me see the list. - She said, rising from her seat with a determined energy.

With a swift motion, Winter handed the paper to Valentina, and as she scanned the list, her breath caught in her throat.

- I'm paired with who!? - She yelled.

Turns out she was paired with Asher, for the most important assignment this term. Val always liked to study, she loves doing presentations and assignments. Unfortunately you can't say the same thing about Asher who was never interested in books or school.

Winter watched Valentina's reaction and tried to lighten up the mood.

- Looks like you and Asher will have quite the project ahead of you. - She remarked. Val looked at her annoyed and continued eating her lunch.

After finishing their food, they cleaned up and were heading out, but just before reaching the exit, a dissonant note caught their attention.
Valentina's eyes blazed with indignation as she witnessed Cady making fun of Musume, her friend's face contorting in a mixture of shock and hurt. Without a moment of hesitation, Valentina rushed over to help Musume out.

- Cady, that's enough, she did nothing wrong just leave her alone! - Valentina's voice rang out with a clarity that brooked no argument, her gaze challenging the cruelty that had unfolded before them.

Winter, sensing the gravity of the situation, rose to Valentina's side, her expression mirroring the fiery determination that blazed in her friend's eyes.
As tensions reached a boiling point in the cafeteria, the confrontation between Valentina and Cady escalated into a heated exchange of words and emotions.

Valentina rushed to the bathroom, hoping to see her friends there. As she entered the bathroom, she was met with a heartwarming scene - Winter stood beside Musume, a mirror image of compassion and support as she delicately fixed Musume's smudged makeup.
Approaching the pair with a soft smile, Valentina's voice carried a note of warmth and appreciation.
