Alastor - This is Goodbye...?

I sat on the rubble of the ground, at my radio station, as Roo appeared. "YOU FAILED!!" She yelled angrily. "AMELIA IS STILL ALIVE! AND SO IS THE TERROR! YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!" Her voice lowered, "You broke the deal." She smirked, "You will fade away until there is nothing left of you but a pile of dust. Have fun dying, Alastor. You deserve it."

"Back. Off." A voice demanded, as Roo chuckled and turned around.

"So it's you, Amelia? Along with the oh-so-great Lazarus! I remember watching you two through my many eyes! How fun it was! You two were some of my greatest entertainment! But," Her voice lowered, "You had to ruin my plans! You had to come to the hotel. BUT," She continued with excitement, "I can forgive you! Both of you! We can work together! Evil and evil!"

She seemed hesitant, that's when I realized, she's not in full control of her body. Lazarus.

"I cannot, and will not join teams with someone who's hurt someone I care about! Hurting Alastor is crossing a very big line." Amelia said, showing some struggle.

Roo sighed, "Name's Roo by the way, others call me The Root of Evil."

"Like I need foolish information like that!" Lazarus yelled this time.

"Just thought you should know the name of the person... who plans to kill you." Roo smirked, as she launched herself at Amelia/Lazarus.

But they weren't the only ones fighting this battle, I saw Lucifer, Charlie, Vaggie, and all the others join in on this fight. I could barely think about anything though. Adam had greatly injured me, not only that, but I felt the punishment of my deal starting to take effect.

It really looks like this is the end for me. Even if they do finish off Roo, what's left for me? I looked back at Amelia, she was fighting for me, I chuckled. I never told her who I felt... And now it's too late...

I watched the battle play out, it was fierce, they barely stood a chance. It was constant, attack after attack. Back and forth. There was no end. But, Amelia/Lazarus managed to pull the last blow. Roo's terror had come to an end.

But what of me?

"ALASTOR!" Amelia yelled, as she rushed over to me. It was just her, though, no... Lazarus.

"What... what happened to Lazarus?" I asked, trying to sound like everything was fine.

"...I ended things. Lucifer managed to trap it back inside of it's book." Amelia said clearly worn out. How did I not notice that...? Maybe it's because I'm dying... Yeah, that makes sense.

She placed her hand on my shoulder, as I summoned the energy to get off the ground. I took off my jacket, allowing my tail to be visible, as well as the large scratch across my chest as blood dripped.

"Alastor... You're going to be fine, right?" She asked.

I chuckled, "This wound is nothing... but, as a consequence for breaking my deal with Roo..." I couldn't finish, unable to imagine the look on her face.

Luckily, Lucifer finished it for me. "He will fade away, until... there's nothing more of him. I'm truly sorry, Amelia... there's no way to save him."

Amelia's eyes widened, as tears started to spill from her eyes. I smiled as I placed my hand on her face, wiping off some of her tears, "Come now, do not cry. It will be okay..." I took my hand away, as I looked down, admitting, "For, although it is my final act... I am grateful..." I felt my legs start to fade away, piece by piece. "I got to spend it with you." I turned to address everyone else, as I spread my arms, allowing myself to show a true smile. "I thank you my friends! For being the stars to my night sky!" I turned to look back at Amelia, "For guiding me through the darkness–." My legs had disappeared, as I continued to fade.

"WAIT!!" Amelia yelled, as she grabbed my hands, "You can't leave me... I don't know what I'll do without you..."

I smiled at her, "You'll find someone to fill the void in your heart..."

"But–but Alastor! You don't understand... I love you." Her grip tightened, as more tears fell.

I smiled, I couldn't help but smile. "I love you too." I said, before Amelia placed her lips on mine.

I was taken aback, before I kissed her back. Allowing my eyes to close, as she wrapped her arms around my neck, I held her close. Never wanting to let go, but my arms started to fade. As I pulled away.

I turned to address everyone again, "I've been through truly the greatest adventure with you all. And I want to thank you again." I bowed, as I continued to fade away. "Till the next adventure my cherished friends, I bid thee farewell."

That left me in tears... my hands were shakin' and everything!!! Ughhhhhh! I'm sooo sorry if that felt rushed! I really hope this was great, but..... I have one chapter left for you all! So don't be sad yet! Amelia and Alastor's story hasn't concluded JUST yet.
