Chapter 8
Seungmin opened his eyes, gasping for breath. He was in his bed, the familiar surroundings of his room coming into focus. When he realised that It had all been a dream—a beautiful, heartbreaking dream. Did Minho never existed?
As he lay there, trying to process the intensity of his emotions, Seungmin couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that washed over him. The memory of Minho felt like a phantom limb, a presence that was no longer there but left a lingering ache.
Feeling numb, Seungmin slowly got out of bed and went about his day, the vivid memories of his relationship with Minho lingering in his mind. But when he arrived at school, he realized something even more disconcerting. There was no Minho.
He asked a few classmates about Minho, but they looked at him with confusion. "There's no Minho in our class," one of them said. "Are you sure you're okay?"
Seungmin's heart sank. The dream had felt so real, the emotions so intense. He wandered the halls, half-expecting to see Minho's familiar face, but there was nothing. Minho didn't exist.
Seungmin sat down on a bench, the weight of the revelation settling over him like a heavy blanket. He felt lost. The dream had woven itself so deeply into his consciousness that he couldn't separate fantasy from reality.
With a heavy heart but a newfound sense of clarity, Seungmin decided to move forward. The dream of Minho, though never real, had changed him in profound ways. It had shown him his capacity for deep, genuine love and the importance of cherishing the moments he had with the people in his life.
As he made his way through the rest of the day, Seungmin couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the experience, no matter how painful it had been. The dream had taught him valuable lessons about himself and the kind of person he wanted to be.
The dream of Minho may have ended, but the memories would always remain—a bittersweet reminder of a love that was never meant to be. Why? I can't get him out of my mind.
"He looked just like a dream
The prettiest boy I've ever seen"
