Tay.
I never actually knew when my birthday was, just around the start of October. Let's just say it's the 8th.
"GOOD MORNING!" Harry jumped onto my bed. He sat cross legged, poking my arm just above the cast.
"Why?" I whined, blocking my face with a pillow.
"Because you have school." I looked at the time on my clock; 07:37
"Harry!" I yelled, shocked by how late I had slept in. I jumped out of bed.
"I know, but you looked so peaceful!"
"I don't have time to shower, Harry! Leave so I can change!"
Harry lay back on my bed and shook his head. I giggled, only slightly frustrated, and changed into some sweat pants and a sweater.
"C'mon, Harry!" I grabbed his wrist and ran downstairs.
I quickly brushed my hair and grabbed an apple and my bag and ran out the door and into the car. The drive was silent but not awkward.
"When's you're birthday?" Harry broke the silence, interrupting my thoughts.
"The eighth of October."
"Tay, that's in two days. What would you like to do?"
I thought for a minute. "How about a picnic on the beach?" I asked.
"Sounds good. You can invite any friends you like!"
"Probably just Kayden," I said, looking down at my charm bracelet.
Harry nodded. "Well, here we are. Good luck!" He hugged me goodbye before letting me leave..
"Thanks, bye Harry!" I got my bag and headed in the gates. I kept my hood up and head down, nervous about my first day back at school. I walked in the door and the first person I saw was Kayden.
"KAYDEN!" I screamed as I ran up to him.
"TAY!" he yelled. We both began running towards each other until I jumped on him and hugged him, wrapping my legs around his torso, my head resting on his shoulder.
"How are ya?" he asked, holding me up.
"I'm alive. You?" I giggled.
"Great now that you're here, I missed you!"
"I missed you too!"he said, before putting me down and looking at me with a smile.
"My birthday is coming up and were going to the beach, wanna come?" I said as a conversation starter.
"Sure Tay, when?"
"Saturday. We can pick you up."
"Okay, sounds like fun. Oh, I almost forgot, I want you to meet my friend." He grabbed my wrist before beginning to pull me down the hall until we reached a bench. He sat down next to a girl and I sat next to him reluctantly.
"Rain?" He poked the girls shoulder.
The girl turned around. She was pretty and had a big smile. She had long blonde hair with pink streak and blue eyes. She looked happy.
"Rain, this is Tay." He pointed to me.
"Hi Rain, nice to meet you!" I held my good hand out with a grin.
She took it and grinned back, just as wide. "You too."
"Great, now I have to go. I changed a few classes so you'll be with Rain. Bye." Kayden got up and left, nothing more to say.
