"So, why'd you ditch me last minute the other day, huh?" Katsuki asked the moment Izuku opened the door for him, which the Omega was taken aback by.

"Well, hello to you too, Kacchan. A-And I didn't ditch you! I sent a text that morning that I'd have to cancel our study plans! I made sure to let you know as soon as I could, I'm sorry." Izuku explained as the blond walked past him and took his usual spot on Izuku's bed.

Katsuki wasn't really upset, he just felt like pulling the other's leg. However, with how much time they started being around each other, his Alpha didn't appreciate not being around the Omega as they routinely planned.

"Did something come up? Knowing you, the only thing to get you out of studying would have to be an emergency of some sort."

"No, nothing like that." Izuku closed the door and joined Katsuki by the bed, "I had friends that missed spending time with me. They wanted to catch up in person. It's important to keep up a good social life and keep my grades up if I want to be a great hero, right?" Izuku smiled.

Katsuki had trouble keeping eye contact with Izuku whenever he looked at him like that, so his crimson eyes wandered over to one of the All Might posters on the wall, "Yeah, I guess..."

The more Katsuki thought about these supposed 'friends', a few questions came to his mind, ones that he thought of and some his Alpha demanded he'd ask right away, but those questions felt too invasive, so he'd opt for the 'normal' questions.

"So, are your friends in the hero course too?"

"No, Iida majors in engineering while Uraraka majors in astronomy. I think with the types of quirks they have, they would be pretty good as heroes, but they're not seen as strong enough abilities since the hero course wants more attack-based quirks rather than quirks better suited for rescuing and defense."

That answered a few questions for Katsuki. While Izuku didn't say what the quirks were, with the information he gave, he could determine his friends were most likely Betas. The names sounded familiar to him too since his friends were more social than him. If he remembered correctly, the two must be Uraraka Ochaco and Iida Tenya, meaning he knew their primary genders as well. While Betas and Omegas could mate, it was rare for a female Beta and male Omega to mate as the dynamic often didn't work, so he didn't see Uraraka as a threat. Iida, however, could be a problem, as male Betas can make themselves more like Alphas or Omegas given the situation they're in.

However, Katsuki didn't know what Izuku's sexuality was anyway. Maybe he couldn't be his type at all. If Izuku were to find a mate, perhaps he would prefer a female Alpha.

Katsuki shook his head at the thought. He shouldn't be thinking like that. Izuku's sexuality, relationships, and anything else shouldn't matter to him. He shouldn't care.

"That makes sense. If they were in the hero course, you wouldn't be needing my help." Katsuki continued the conversation, despite his thoughts derailing the subject entirely.

"Yeah, it would've been easier if I knew Betas from the class but as I've mentioned, I'm not allowed in the classroom so, I don't know anyone there. Except for you now, of course."

"Right... Did you... Tell your friends about me?" Katsuki blurted out without thinking much about what he was asking.

It caught Izuku off guard, "W-What do you mean?"

"I-I'm just wondering since we never discussed our arrangement fully. Obviously, we're just friends but if word got out about us, it would seem suspicious if people heard about an Alpha sneaking off every week to visit an Omega. Alpha and Omega friendships are unheard of, everyone always assumes the two have to be in a deeper relationship. We can't let people know about us or else we could get in trouble if people decided to spread rumors. It'll be even worse for you since the school already wants to fail you in the hero course. If they think you're romantically involved with an Alpha, it'll be over!" Katsuki warned.
