"You will haunt me no longer, little brother..."
Those words echoed through the pitch-black darkness that engulfed whatever was surrounding it, the only thing being visible a familiar tall man with a creepy smile, his hand reaching closer and closer until Izuku finally opened his eyes to realize it was nothing but a nightmare.
Nevertheless, he woke up in a panic, breathing growing uncontrollably as his emerald eyes darted around its surroundings, getting familiar with the reality around him after being stuck in a dream that made him feel like he was drowning.
As his heartbeat decreased, he felt the weight around his waist shift, registering that it was Katsuki's arm. He must've woke him up. Izuku would've felt bad but Katsuki didn't give him any time to.
"What happened? Bad dream or something?" Katsuki asked, his tone giving hints of tiredness given that he was woken up in the middle of the night.
"I-I'm sorry, Kacchan, I didn't mean to wake you up..."
"I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about you. Ever since we left campus, you keep having these panic attacks in your sleep. You just brush it off whenever I ask, but they've been getting worse... You can tell me what's going on, you know?"
"I know, I just don't want to burden you more than I already have."
Katsuki softly flicked him on the head for saying that, "We're mated now, dork. Any problems you're dealing with are my problems too. If you don't tell me, I'm only gonna worry about you more."
Izuku rubbed his forehead, "I guess you're right... It's just... I don't know how to explain it either... I keep having these dreams where I see All For One... But, they almost feel... Real... Like he's really talking to me... He... He called me his little brother?" Izuku nervously laughed.
"Ew... Is your mom keeping a secret sibling from ya?" Katsuki joked.
"God, I hope not. Especially considering how old All For One is, how old would that make my mom?"
"Fair point. I'm sure it's just a dream. You're scared of facing against him and it's messing with your mind."
"You're probably right."
"Of course I'm right. I also think you're probably sleep-deprived. Don't think I haven't figured out you've been sneaking out in the middle of the night to train."
Izuku blushed, "What? I don't... Do that..."
"You're a horrible liar. Whenever I feel you leaving, I try keeping you in bed but you always break out of my arms!"
"O-Oh! I didn't realize you were conscious... I thought you just had a really strong grip." Izuku tried to laugh it off but Katsuki just glared over at him.
"Well, what did you expect me to do? You already know I'm terrified if I'm not strong enough to beat him-" Katsuki stopped him from spiraling, taking his hands into his own to keep him calm.
"You are strong, Izuku. You just don't think so because you're worried about the part of yourself that doesn't matter! Being an Omega doesn't make you weak! Sure, Prime Omegas have their powers and strengths, but that doesn't mean anything if they aren't strong enough to fight. You are! You've gone head-to-head with U.A.'s strongest Alphas and Betas! It's not because you were born with a gift, it's because you worked your ass off and earned it! All For One never earned any of the shit he has, that's what makes him weak."
Katsuki took one hand away from Izuku, moving it to the Omega's chest, pressing it against where his heart would be, "You can beat him but only if you believe you can. Sneaking out at night to do one hundred more pushups than you've already done in the morning won't change as much as you think it does. You need a clear mind and the want to beat him if you're going to win. So... Are you?"
