𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 II

Akito Shinonome, son of Shiraishi Shinonome and the prince of the kingdom, didn't have an easy life either. Unlike Toya thought he did.

Tsukasa, was his older brother, their parents favourite. He was smart, already engaged with a princess form another castle or something Akito didn't really gave a lot of attention to these. He was also very good at strategy when it to came to fighting and war.

On the other hand , Akito was a disappointment to everyone. Even to himself. He hwd rejected every girl that came from different places, he didn't know how to fight well with his sword and would often injure himself very badly. Last but not least he hated books.

If he could, he would burn every single one. He couldn't understand what "magical" thing they had. They always had a happy ending, the main character was living his best life while the villains would always die or something like this. It felt like it will never be their turn to be forgiven, to be given a second chance, to be happy.

He could only relate to the villains, the bad guys. Trying to please his parents or trying to keep himself alive, wanting to live better. He was trying really hard, but as already he knew that the bad guys would never win. So it always felt pointless.

The "magic" that everyone wad talking about, only the main character had the luck to be blessed by it. And Akito would never be the one blessed, since Tsukasa was the main character in his story.

Jealousy filled him up every time he thought about it. Today he was going to visit the kingdom "いる", he heard from secretly stalking his parents that they had two siblings. One of them named Toya and the other, that he guessed that was a girl, Saki.

He really hoped that Saki was already engaged or married, since he really didn't want to marry anyone at the moment or in general. He found it stupid.  He couldn't understand the thing called "true love" since he was never loved like that by no one.

After hours of travelling, they finally arrived, once Akitos feet touched the dirt , he threw up, almost making his "beloved" brother dirty by his vomit. His brother on the other hand made a face of disgust while looking down on him while he emptied his stomach in front of him.

"Ew.."

Tsukasa said, before walking away. After a couple of seconds Akito followed him with his "lovely" parents, that seemed to be dressed a bit too fancy for their first night of their stay here.

Well Akito couldn't really say or do anything about it. Once they entered the castle, they were welcomed by the Aoyagi family. The kings greeted each other before Toyas dad whispered something to him in his ear. Thats when Toya suddenly approved Akito.

"Welcome to our palace, feel free to ask me anything, but for now mind if i tour you around?"

Toya asked him gently. His voice was angelic to Akito, so soft he thought he was talking to an angel.

"I wouldn't mind, thank you for taking care"

Akito tried his best to make a realistic smile. Both of them smiled to each other before making their way, out of the hall, where everyone was, except Saki...
