You picked at your food, soft smile spread across your face. You took a small bite as you looked at your friends talking around you, acting like you were listening but you were really in your own little world.
"Right Y/N?" Eva asked turning to you. You froze for a second as you heard your name called out.

You fumbled with your words before you replied. "Yup."
"What?! Y/N I can't believe you actually like Ms.Makarova." Riley furrowed her eyebrows at you, taking a bite out of her food mid sentence.

"Oh I don't." You shrugged as you took a spoonful of your oatmeal. A moment of silence spread across the table, everyone looking at you confused and with squinted eyes.

You stummerd as you spoke "I'm lost-"
"We see." Joseph chuckled as he chewed. You rolled your eyes as you shoved food into your mouth.

"Wait Eva you like Ms Makarova?" You finally connected the dots, talking with your mouth half full.

"Not that I like her, I respect her, she's like not that bad." Eva argued trying to prove her point.

"I'm kind of with Eva on this one." Andre shrugged as he stared down at his plate, fork in hand.

"Really?" Riley asked in disbelief.
"That's just nonsense now." You chuckled as you toyed your food around.

The argument continued, but you kept eyeing the corner of the cafeteria. He stood there, making some meaningless conversation with the other teachers. His hands crossed, the blue shirts long sleeves bungled up exposing his vainy forearms.

"Y/N?" Your name brought you back from your transe, your head turning to look at the face calling you.
You hummed as you looked at Eva's face who tried to read you.

"You've been awfully happy lately. I hate to see you happy what happened?" Eva joke but said it in a serious tone. You chuckled as you looked down at your thighs.

"Nothing." You shyly said shaking your head, your smile creeping in as you tried to suppress it.

"I know you long enough to know that is definitely not nothing." Eva sassed as she leaned on her arm, still glaring at you.

"It's nothing, really." You looked at her, that expression on her face inspecting your every face muscle.

"Alright..." She rolled her eyes as she turned her look away from you.
"But you'll have to tell me someday." She followed up, pointing her finger at you like a warning.

"I'll be finding out about everything tonight!" Riley was bragging as she tried to be as annoying as possible to Eva, spitting her tounge out at her.
Eva just rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms in a sassy manner.

The bell rang, a collective groan was heard from the entire cafeteria. You got up from your seat, taking your tray of food and walking off to the bin. You waited for everyone to throw in the platters of food before throwing in yours.
