"Oh Morro." Harumi called. "I have a question."
Morro kept his eyes closed as he leaned against the wall. Perhaps he can get Lloyd to google "how to ignore annoying people" and tell him.
"Don't bother asking. I'm busy." Morro said, retightening the green cloth around his hair, softly smiling.
"How did you survive that hit?" Harumi asked. "From my Emperor? Surely that was a fatal blow. Let me remind you." She stepped aside to reveal the screens on the watchtower lit up and started to play the video she recorded of Lloyd and his father fighting in this very prison.
Morro kept his eyes closed and paid no mind to it. He needed to direct his energy and concentration to Lloyd at the moment. If he wants his brother to focus, Morro himself has to keep his head on straight. No time to think about the dangers he's faced in the past. Lloyd's mission was to give a speech. And it better be a good one. Neither of the brothers were perfect at public speaking. Best of luck to Lloyd.
The video on the screen flicked in and out and changed to an image of Lloyd in a studio. His voice began to play over the speakers. Morro opened his eyes and saw Lloyd on the screen, giving his all into every word he said. It made Morro smile knowing that the Green Ninja was well on his way.
Harumi on the other hand was furious. How could her generals back in the city let that happen?!
"Perhaps if you spend less time interrogating me, you wouldn't lose once more." Morro looked at the ceiling, concentrating on Lloyd's voice over the radio. Finally able to hear it not inside his head.
Harumi shouted in frustration as she ran to the watchtower. Morro saw her frantically type on the control panel in the central component. Morro moved to sit up straight on the bed in the cell. On the screen, he saw Lloyd look to the side and pause. Harumi must have strengthened her broadcast to reach the Green Ninja's eyes.
Morro could feel Lloyd's spirit beginning to sink.
"Take a deep breath." Morro whispered to himself. He moved his hand onto his shoulder and held it with a firm grip. "Think of something else. Something that triumphs over that video."
"I may not have Elemental Power... But I call upon the power of the people!"
Lloyd's broadcasted voice continued. Morro lowered his hand from his shoulder and he watched the rest of the message playout. As Lloyd's voice echoed around, the angry shouts of Harumi and the other Sons of Garmadon also flew across the courtyard. But Morro didn't mind.
"No. No, no, no, no, NO!" Harumi shouted as she ran out into the courtyard, looking up at the Green Ninja on the screen.
"THE RESISTANCE NEVER QUITS!"
It played on repeat over the other loud sounds. For once, Morro didn't mind the noise.
. . .
Wu and Cole somehow found themselves in the middle of a dragon hunt. And against a wind dragon no less. Cole did his best to sabotage the hunt by misfiring the chains, but the Dragon Hunters were relentless in their pursuit.
Two chains wrapped around the wind dragon's neck while the third hooked onto her tail. Heavy Metal stood up and ran across that third chain, reaching the body of the dragon. He moved to the chains around the dragon's neck and he pulled it back, making the dragon react in repulsion. However the sporadic attempts to rid herself of the pests made the wind dragon lose control and come crashing to the ground.
"We can't just leave her!" Wu pulled on Cole's shirt.
"You think I don't know that?" Cole replied. "But the guy's are still captured! We have nowhere to go if we make an escape!"
