Silently, you lay on a stretcher of an unknown room; unaware of where you're at because, as you might've already guessed, you're currently in stasis mode. But since you already read the interface booting up, it won't be long until you wake up.

-Booting up...-

Your visor lit your eyes along with your optics interface. Slowly, you moved your head around to see where you ended up. With you moving, you noticed straps holding you down that are on each of your limbs.

(Y/N): Where... am I?

You commented to yourself.

?????: Wakey wakey surface slicker!!!

An unknown voice calls out inside the room, seemingly to be taunting you.

(Y/N): Surface slicker?

The next thing you saw was two bright eyes and a hand holding a knife that came from a dark part of the room, which instantly made you emit a short shriek.

(Y/N): *Fearful shriek*

?????: As in drones like you who hang around on the surface!

The mysterious figure walked out of the shadow, fully presenting herself with a derange look on her face.

(Y/N): Who are you!?

You fretted at the sight of her.

?????: Now why would you wanna know? Do you want to go offline knowing the name of your killer?

She taunted with a huge evil grin.

(Y/N): Because... I'm curious?

?????: ...

She stared at you with a disappointed look until out of nowhere, she found humor in it.

?????: Hahahahahahaha! *clears throat* Oh, you strange doohicKey, it's on my antlers

Confused, you explored her unique piece of headgear and noticed a tag hanging from it.

(Y/N): Named... Alice... and a test subject for what?

Alice: Don't you dare go calling me a subject! NOW, can I please chop your ever so vulnerable head off!?

You were frightened once again as she was holding her weapon tightly, ready to use your corpse as god knows what. As you were busy shaking, you noticed a companion behind her back. The companion was busy staring at you with its blue eyes and with a thumbs up, which made you go back to your confused state.

(Y/N): Uhhh, who is the egg behind you?

The mentally unstable drone remembers that she has a buddy and notices how he's just watching behind her.

Alice: Hmph, why are you so curious...

The egg then hops onto a nearby hospital curtain and waves at you, seemingly welcoming you around here.

Alice: Beau, he's not a friend, he's food

She said with an irritated manner.

(Y/N): He's a lot nicer than you for some reason...

The southerner turns her attention back to you with an annoyed expression.

Alice: I would've killed you on the spot if it wasn't for Beau yapping to save you for later!

(Y/N): Yikes, you're one crazy cowgirl...

-Alice runs SURPRISED_AND_CRAZY.exe-

She aims her knife close onto your head and speaks in an angry tone.

Alice: What did you call me!?

Your eyes widened in terror as you didn't know that she would easily be triggered by such a word.

(Y/N): Uhhhhh...

Out of nowhere, Beau swoops onto Alice's shoulder and instructs her to control herself.

Alice: What was that? Mhm. Huh. That's settled.

You watched the two communicate as Beau uses his own limb to tell what he is proposing to Alice. Out of nowhere, Alice puts the knife aside and looks back at you with a change of heart.

Alice: New plans now, I'll spare you since Beau sees "potential" in you. And no, I'm not letting you out of the rodeo I set up for you.

And with that, she left back into the dark part of the room.

(Y/N): Don't leave me like this!

She didn't bother to reply as you were left strapped down onto the stretcher. Not all things are bad for you because you remembered that her companion is still next to you. Out of boredom, you decide to thank him.

(Y/N): Uh, thanks a lot back there... Beau

He replies with a thumbs up and a joyful expression on his mini visor.

(Y/N): I heard that you were the one who spared me when I was suddenly blacked out. Was she the one who knocked me unconscious?

Beau simply answers by nodding his egg body.

(Y/N): That explains it, but why spare me?

Out of nowhere, Beau takes out a notebook and a pencil to write down something.

*Very busy writing noises*

(Y/N): That's impressive with one arm...

He finishes writing down a response and presents it to you.

It reads: You look like the drone who could turn things around, especially Alice. She's quite insane but I think she deserves someone like you.

(Y/N): What!?

He then gives you another thumbs up and an expression that says, "You got this buddy!"

(Y/N): Well, at least I'm still alive...

Beau sees this as a yes, so he decides to leave you alone. He makes his way into the dark parts of the room just to see what comes of you when Alice decides to bother you again.

(Y/N): Alone again, in an unknown room, underground, with an unstable girl and her optimistic egg...

You stayed quiet right after that, thinking about what Beau instructed you to do. After putting some thought on it, maybe Alice could see you as a friend if she doesn't decide to rip you apart the next chance she gets.

(Y/N): Maybe...

The next thing for you to do is wait what comes. To pass the time, you decide to play a game you have downloaded in your hardware.
