"THANKS for the ride, darlin''," Lottie pecked her boyfriend's cheek as he parked the car in the Richmond driveway. In her mint green dress, leather jacket, and tanned heels, she looked absolutely adorable. Yet again, she was always adorable. She adored that Roy would drive her to work every morning just for a few extra minutes with her even though the stadium was the last place Roy wanted to be right now.
They had spent the entire previous night and that morning discussing – more like arguing – over the latest elimination on Lust Conquers All. Roy was quite smug over the results, while Lottie was displeased with the outcome.
"I thought you threatened I wasn't getting a goodbye kiss," Roy pointed out with a smile, glad that he had gotten one anyway. He pretended he didn't care, but that morning, he was disheartened at the thought of Lottie leaving without at least a small kiss before he had to be separated from her all day.
Some would call it unhealthy codependency; Roy just called it a healthy reason not to turn to arson.
"I just couldn't resist," Lottie sighed dreamily while watching her boyfriend's face soften in a way only meant for her. She was the only one who ever saw such a soft side of Roy Kent, and each time she looked into his eyes, she felt herself fall deeper and deeper.
"So you're not mad about me voting Twatt off-"
That sobered Lottie right up and her affectionate smile turned into an appalled glare. "I can't believe you voted to kick him off after I told you me and the yoga mums were votin' for him!"
"That's what voting is for. Seems the rest of the country agreed with me," Roy shrugged, unbothered by her or the other ladies' reactions. As he watched Jamie be voted off live, Roy could only smirk and laugh evilly while Lottie and the women shouted angrily at the telly. "He's a right old prick."
Lottie wasn't going to disagree with that statement. Jamie had been pretty mean to Roy the past years they were on Richmond together. She was the last person who would ask Roy to give Jamie grace. "I wonder what he's goin' to do now that he's off the show. Man City announced that they wouldn't be takin' him back. I wonder if another team will snatch him up."
Roy just grunted in response, not caring to talk about Jamie Twat unless it was about how he was a prick or a loser or a prick or a twat or a prick.
Lottie looked out to the pitch and saw her father riding on the back of a lawnmower in the distance, heading their direction. "Would you want to pop in? Say hi?" She offered.
