"Here your Soren, I hope you two lovebirds enjoy!"
The waitress in traditional clothing said in Japanese with a huge smile, placing the food in front of us off of her tray.
"Arigato gozaimasu."
"Arigato."

Next to the Soren, I ordered myself some Umeshu, a Japanese plum wine. I wanted to not drink, just like Jotaro, but upon seeing it on the menu, I wanted to try it out.

"Soren, huh, it looks interesting! Why is it traditional for Tamabata, though?"
"It's being said that the white noodles represent the Milky Way and all the vegetables around are the stars and planets. You remember I told you what Tanabata is about, right?"
"Yeah, still do. Two lovers from different milky ways meeting once a year on the seventh day of the seventh month. Cool! I didn't know you know so much about Tanabata, is there a reason?"

"I'd be lying if I'd say that I know it all because I was always interested in it. I informed myself about it all because I know how curious you are and that you would ask here and there."
"Oi, that is so nice of you to do. Thank you, my love."

"Don't thank me for the bare minimum here, I'm not such a jerk as I was back when we met."
"Oh well, you did change towards your loved ones, that is true, but I fell for you, Jotaro, and I liked you when we first met as well, even if all the girl crushes irritated me."
"Well, these irritate me today still."
"Yeah, true, but you're all mine now, so I'm not worrying about it."

I smiled at him cheekily before grasping the noodles with my chopsticks.
"Itadakimasu!"
He shook his head while smiling softly, taking his chopsticks into his hand as well.
"Itadakimasu."

The dish was very tasty, the vegetables cooked just right and the spices matching super well. We were casually talking about the meanings behind several Japanese festivities, telling me that Sendai is the only city that celebrates Tanabata Matsuri a month later, but also about cars and vacations we want to take together.

As promised, we planned a date together, deciding to go to Nagoya the following weekend, enjoying some sight seeing and spa time.

Although I was not much of a wine fan, I was on my second glass of Soren, starting to take a liking, but I decided that would also be my last glass, as I didn't want to be too drunk, only tipsy at most.

"(Y/N), I hate to interrupt, but would you prefer to continue talking outside, or stay here in the restaurant?"
Jotaro inquired, leading me to widen my eyes in surprise, taking his hand to me to check the time on the Cartier watch I gifted him on his birthday on his wrist.

"Wow, it's 21 o'clock? We've been here for two and a half hours already? Yes, let us go outside, we still wanted to check some things out after all."
I replied to him as he opened his hand that he kept on the table.

I put my hand into his while sipping the last bit of the soren.
"Ready?"
"Ready."

He rose up to his feet, helping me up right after. A bodyguard from the Speedwagon Foundation walked up to the counter to pay while Jotaro didn't let go of my hand but guided me outside.

I looked up at the sky, seeing the stars shining brightly in space, the whites, blue, greens and pinks against the black contrast.

Jotaro still guided me as I was looking around at the now fully embarked night sky and festival lights. It was crowded, but not heavily crowded at least. Yet Jotaro didn't risk letting me go.
