"They seem to like you." Davina said once they were outside. She sighs with relief, relieved that her parents liked Zed. She had been worried that they wouldn't like her new boyfriend. "That's a good sign." She spoke as she walked along the street with Zed.

"I'm glad," Zed replies, smiling as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I was a bit nervous, honestly. I wanted to make a good impression."

Davina hand slips into his and she laces her fingers through his. At this action, he looks down with a shy smile, before squeezing her hand back. He loved the way her hand felt in his. It was a simple gesture, yet it meant so much. He could feel the butterflies in his stomach, and he didn't know if it was just nerves or if it was something else. "You did great." She reassures him. "My parents liked you a lot. I knew you would win them over. They're just protective, but they see how happy you make me. How do you even look like a human, by the way?" She asked, looking at him curiously.

"I had Eliza hack into the Z-Band and she helped me look more human." Zed admits. "It honestly kinda hurts my arm but I never felt more alive." He adds with a grin, his eyes lighting up as he squeezes her hand. "And now we can be out in public without people staring or freaking out."

Davina's eyes softened and she couldn't help but smile at his words. "I love that, but if you're hurting then you shouldn't do this. I would rather have the old Zed than a fake version." She places her hand on his arm, causing him to stop and look at her. "You're perfect the way you are, no matter what."

Zed's heart flutters and he felt a smile tug at his lips. He had never had someone say that to him before, well, except his family and friends, but they were biased. And yet, here Davina was, telling him he was perfect the way he was and it meant so much to him. "Davina..." He trails off, not sure what to say. He couldn't believe she was saying this, he couldn't believe how amazing and kind she was. He was falling for her, hard. He leans over and kisses her cheek, causing her cheeks to turn pink and a smile to form on her lips. "Thank you."

Her face turned red and she smiled a little, trying to ignore her racing heart. She had never been kissed on the cheek by a guy before and she had never felt this way. No boy had made her feel like this, but Zed did. It was a new feeling and it scared her a bit, but it also excited her.

"So since we're finally looking like normal couples, we should go do what normal couples do." Zed suggested with a bright smile.

"And that is?" She questioned, raising her eyebrows curiously as she felt her heart fluttered.

Zed leads her to an ice cream shop that was busy. "Get ice cream of course." He told her with a cheeky smile.

Davina chuckles, shaking her head. "Sounds perfect."

She follows him to the ice cream shop which had a 'no zombies allowed' sign on the door. She rolled her eyes at it, but her heart skipped a beat when Zed opened the door for her. "You're so chivalrous." She teased him.
