The government of nations. Not much is known to the average person, except that the GON is a combination of most of the world's leaders and elites, as well as a combination of many governments into one gigantic system. All to protect and insure that every citizen no longer has to suffer under pointless wars and conflict anymore. Many normal citizens saw this as an amazing thing, while others could clearly tell there was something the world's leaders weren't telling the public.

No matter right? Everyone was happy! No more wars, no more conflict. No more pointless deaths. It was truly a turning point within humanity's development. Many things saw increase due to the creation of the GON. Technology changed substantially, humanity now having access to robots, advanced technologies, and everything in between.

On one particular day, both a wife and husband enjoy their time together within their humble little home.

*Gentle sigh* "Sebastian. I love moments like this. Just the two of us, free from the stress of our jobs... simply being close to one another like now."

He nods. "I know Akari." He plants a quick kiss onto her forehead. "I would give anything for us to be like this. Forever."

*giggle* "Look at you being all lovey dovey. Just don't go treating me like some princess ok?"

"I won't hun." He chuckles. "We both know you'd be too good for the princess role anyway."

With an eye roll, Akari play punches her husband.
"Stop it with the praises hun. Keep it up and I'll have to start treating you like some hero in a book."

*playful smirk* "Maybe I'll hold you up to that." *He takes her hand in his* "Speaking of which my love. Why don't you let this hero take you out to dinner tonight, hmm? My treat."

She gives an amused and humorous side glare. "Oh really?"

*chuckle* "Yes, really hun. We both deserve to have a night to ourselves. Both eating out at dinner together." He leans forward and whispers. "And maybe when we get back home, a little love session between us could conclude the day? What do you say?"

She blushes a bit at this, smirking at the now clear thought of them making love. She leans close to him, their faces inches apart. "I'd love that."

And thus commences a very passionate make out session between the two. It seems dinner will have to wait a short while.

...

Present day

Akari jolts awake, looking around in a frantic manner. Not much to her surprise, she's back to reality, and not the comforts of her dreams. She lets out a deep, saddened sigh.

"...S...Sebastian..."

She try's not to get too emotional, trying her damndest to remain strong. She rubs her eyes throughly before adjusting to the beams of the sun, rising up on her makeshift sleeping mat.

"...It's already morning..." She sighs once more, turning around to see if her son is still asleep. Sure enough, he is. She smiles gently before returning to her rough expression, something having caught her attention. She slowly stands up, perking up her ears. "...I know I heard that." She says quietly.

Akari unholsters her revolver, slowly moving towards the entrance of her temporary shelter. As she peeks her head outside the entrance, she comes face to face with a mutated cow. She looks around before returning her gaze to the cow.
