When the dead started walking, we were small and alone. Until a man named Lee became our protector. Lee protected other people as well, but he couldn't save everyone. You can never save everyone. One time he decided to save a woman named Carly, but this led to a guy named Doug dying. The living were just as dangerous as the dead. A woman in our group named Lily lost her dad. And she just couldn't cope. She killed Carly. She took the life that Lee had saved. Lee continued to show her kindness... but she took advantage of that later and stole the van we were using. Lee taught us how to survive. He protected us as long as he could. But he got bitten because of us. But even in the end he was still teaching. "Keep that hair short, it's just not worth the risk, Clem, and (Y/N) make sure you and Clem avoid the cities." Lee wouldn't make it. He knew it was the end. He made one final request. He asked us to shoot him. And we did. Clem did. We met another group, broken people, running from their past. There was a woman who gave birth to a boy named... Alvin Junior. AJ. He made it. The mom didn't. Clem and I started taking care of him. But then Jane left AJ in the snow. We thought he was gone forever. That was the last straw for Kenny. And without Lee around... I had to make the call. I shot Kenny. I stopped him. Finally gave him peace. It turned out AJ was alive. Jane hid him to make a point. Knowing what she'd done... We went on alone. We had had enough. We took AJ and left her behind. AJ, Clem, and I traveled to a new frontier. I thought we found something that worked. But I was wrong again. A man named David told me Clementine died. But he lied, he kicked her out of the group. It was just me and AJ for a while. Clem searched for a long time. Just when I was giving up hope... she found us. We're searching together now for a place we can call home. I'm all Clem and AJ have. They are all I have, and I'll protect them with my life. Just like Lee did for me and Clem in the very beginning.
