Cast Away

The screams increase as I approach the experimental building. A person from inside let's off a loud cry for help and then goes quiet and I am scared to find out the reason why.

Footsteps can be heard and I quickly hide behind a clump of decorative bushes near the building. An older man with a lab coat on walks out with a box, throwing the contents on to the pavement and kicking them away without a hint of emotion on his face. From where I stand I cannot see what he threw but I can easily hear its whimpers from where it lays.

I wait for him to leave before taking a peak at what he threw. A small kitten, now lying helpless, obviously hurt, on the ground whimpering. I look around making sure no one is watching before slowly making my way over to it and picking it up carefully trying not to hurt it.

It fit in my hands perfectly, it had dark brown soft fur, a white stomach, and captivating jade green eyes. Carefully, I carried it to my car as it whined in fright or pain. I wasn't sure which one. I set it down in the passenger seat, and then got in the car myself.

I still wonder what the screams were from but my main priority at the moment was getting as far away from here as I could. This part of town wasn't good, it was known for strange and dangerous things.

I looked at the small kitten that now sat quietly licking its fur. He didn't look as bad now that I he was in the car. I wasn't sure what I was going to do once I got home with the cat, I don't have any pets, maybe it would be fun to own one. Smiling a little I start the car, and head towards my house. Little did I know of what was to come with the little cast away kitten.

A/N: Hi, to you guys, I mean if there is any of you.. Well this is my Narry hybrid fanfic and I hope you like it. I've never seen one of these with Harry as the Hybrid and I though why not though, he's adorable and I think would be cute as a Hybrid, so I hope I can make this good, but bear with me.. I'm not that good at writing but I'm trying to improve. Credits to nightgate for the amazing cover.
