•Ares' POV•

It's been a few days since Santana left and Blake hasn't really shown up outside of her room. All day, everyday, Ev and I hear that guitar. It's not until 1am that I always wake up to her footsteps, showers, rummaging in the kitchen. Not knowing if this is her normal behavior, I try not to bother her.

"Alright man, we gotta get her out of that room," Ev says. "What's our mission looking like?"

Laying on the couch absolutely clueless, I think for a while. Eventually the thought comes to me. "Let's just tell her to run errands with us."

"Really? That's your plan of action?" He says with judgment. I focus my eyes on his while upside down, "What else do we do?" He shrugs and that solidifies our plan is my stupid idea. We walk together then Ev heads up the stairs to try to convince Blake to "run errands" while I wait sitting on the bottom step.
Eventually Ev joins me, seating himself next to me on the step.

"She said she'd be down in a minute."

"Word." I reply.

A couple minutes go by and we hear her door open. We both stand up from the step and face the top of the stairs. Blake comes into sight and makes her way down.

•Blake's POV•

Taking each step down I can feel Ares and Ev staring at me. I imagine my reclusiveness has them worried, they just don't know how I am yet. Besides, I've been trying to write a song and I intend on keeping my awful daily schedule until I'm pleased with what I've created.
Meeting with the boys at the bottom of the stairs, Ares speaks up,

"You look good." There's no smile on his face but his eyes are full of light. Looking at them makes me remember his comment the other night, "You have really pretty eyes." with that thought arising I look down to avoid his gaze. "Thank you," I answer with an awkward smile. His smile finally forms once he sees mine.

"Alright, let's go!" Ev claps and rubs his hands together, eager to leave the house. I don't know what they've been up to the last few days nor do I care. But judging by their excitement, I don't think they've gone outside at all.
We get in Ev's car and head out. With no idea of where they're taking me, I can only occupy my time with looking out the window. With the location of the house, the wooded highway is the only road to take. The trees passing by like sped up stop motion. Seeing the birds fly by makes the drive worth whatever is to come.
I don't know what brought me to do it but I look in the passenger side mirror and I'm met with Ares watching me through it. Once our eyes meet, he smiles softly. Whatever had gotten into me made me genuinely smile back and that made his grow even bigger. Slowly looking back to the scenery, I wonder if he'll keep watching?

"Nah dude, I'm telling you, once we go back to college and I have my glow up..i'll be a bachelor to die for." Ev boasts and nods slowly and proudly.

"You're not going to glow up till you're 90 and on your death bed. You wanna know what i'll say then??" Ares tests Ev, "I'll say, "damn man where are all the sorority bitches at?""
I tried not to but I let out a giggle. This in turn caused Ev and Ares to both snap their heads back at me. I quickly return my face to a mysterious one. They look at each other astonished and Ares states with his eyes widened,

"No way dude, I made her laugh before you did!"

"That's literally impossible because you're not fucking funny." Ev's voice is full of jealousy, not towards Ares making ME laugh but towards Ares making someone in general laugh.
They continue to poke fun at each other as we sit on the dock of the lake. The sun is setting and it's beautiful. This whole place has been nothing but beautiful. Though I've finally become taken away in this moment, the boys are bored.
