•Ares' POV•

The sun shines through my window bringing me out of my slumber. Today's the day that I'm determined to hear Blake's song. I'm dying to know what her voice sounds like when it's not just her beautiful hums. My plan will be easy and effective.
I hop out of bed and once my brain adjusts to being awake, I hear Blake playing around on that guitar. It's a sound i've grown so fond of. I throw on some pants but don't care enough for a shirt, my plan needs to go into immediate action.
I book it out of my room and knock on her door. She opens it and I slip my way in,

"Close it! Close it!" I whisper intensely. She does just that and stares at me like I'm a newly discovered creature. She turns around and sits back down at her desk.

"So. Blake." I say with a mischievous tone.
"So. Ares." She throws the same tone back at me and I laugh.

"I know how to bribe you."

She freezes in place and turns her body to face mine. Considering the look on her face, I think she's scared. "What? What's wrong?" I ask completely blank on what the matter could be.
"I didn't think you'd remember that, I kinda was hoping you wouldn't." She says shyly looking down at her feet. I see her fiddling with her fingers.

"Well I mean, I really want to hear it. Just hear me out!" I beg.
She deeply exhales and signals for me to speak.
"I was thinking, if you sing your song for me right now, then we'll go and adopt a cat."
She throws her head back in utter confusion, "Wait what? Are you serious?"
"..Yeah." I nervously reply. Within a split second she's smiling with complete joy.
"I've always wanted a cat!! My dad was allergic. How'd you know that would work?!" She's now testing my knowledge.
"You just seem like a cat person" I shrug with a proud grin on my face.

She immediately turns around, picks up her guitar and stretches her arm to her laptop and presses play. I have no idea what to expect but I just know it'll be good. My body is shaking with anticipation. She begins to sing along with the strums, and overlay instrumentals and vocals.
