Agatha is offline.
pris: Jadeee
pris: You haven't been online for a while :<
pris: There was a giveaway the other day, and you missed it...
pris: I'm here if you need someone to talk to!I haven't been logging on to Shadows and Tombs or anything to do with it. It's been a few days since Cilla and I started the whole relationship thing. Thankfully, Rori's nowhere to be found since the fight but I've always had an eerie feeling of being watched. Maybe I'm just a bit paranoid...
jxde: sorryyyyy pris! been busy with real life stuff lately :<
jxde: will probably play again after finals!!! <3
jxde: don't miss me too much <3I'm really comfortable talking with Pris even when I haven't met her in person yet. Maybe when we raid a dungeon again, I'll ask her for her socials so we could solidify our friendship! For now, I'll just sleep since I have to go to school again tomorrow...
The next morning...
I woke up from the loud blaring sound of my alarm and I grumpily took my phone to hit the snooze... Until I realize that it's already 8:50AM and Cilla would already be here in 10 minutes. I hurriedly tossed aside my blanket, clumsily put my thick glasses on and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I'm incredibly fast when I need to be. I barely dried myself with the towel before I put my school uniform on. I proceeded to brush my teeth and didn't bother to comb my wavy hair.
The doorbell rang, so I got my backpack and went downstairs in hopes to see Cilla already outside. I opened the door, but to my surprise, it was Rori.
"Hey Agatha." He wore the best smile he could possibly have, but I feel my insides tossing and turning in a bad way. I was frozen in place, internally shaking as I didn't know how to deal with the situation anymore. I believe this lasted for a few minutes before I snapped back to reality when Cilla put her arms around my shoulder.
"Why are you bothering Agatha?" Cilla said as she raised her eyebrow at him. Before he could say anything, she turned to face me and held my arms in a caring manner, "Are you okay? Did he do anything to you?"
I shook my head in response to her question. Even for a moment, it felt like we were in our own world that I didn't even notice that Rori was still there until he said "Tsk."
"And you're still here?" Cilla said in her most spiteful tone. "You know what, let's go Aggy." Cilla firmly took my hand and led me to walk beside her. I didn't look back to see what Rori's reaction was. We've been walking for a while before Cilla asked me, "You sure you're okay or do you want to take a day off from school today?" She looked at me with such genuine care and worry.
I nodded and smiled at her to give reassurance, "I'm okay, I feel safe when you're around."
We finally reached the university and went to the entrance as we're supposed to meet Regina and Austin there.
"Damn." Regina said, which I believe was because Cilla and I were still holding hands. I ended up blushing because I'm not used to any public display of affection.
"You two! How long have you been all lovey-dovey?" Regina was giggly and kept poking Cilla's arm to tease her.
"We've been taking it slow, but now we're going serious." Cilla answered firmly.
It felt a bit awkward since Austin was just standing there and watching everything unfold. It didn't help that I was around during the whole confession last time. I couldn't really look at him so I just turned my attention to Cilla and Regina.
"I'll go first." Austin said in a defeated tone and didn't wait for a response as he walked away immediately after.
"Just give him some time. I'll go talk to him later today. Don't worry, okay?" Regina smiled apologetically as she waved goodbye and followed Austin.
"I'll meet you here after our classes, then we'll walk home together?" Cilla asked, to which I responded, "Yes, yes. I'll wait for you here."
Class was pretty boring with all the youtube videos which the professor was making us watch instead of actually teaching us, so I'm glad that was over. I went to sit down at the front entrance to wait for Cilla until I received a message...
Don't you miss me, gorgeous? :)
I felt shivers down my spine as I read the text and looked around me, searching for any sign of Rori. I ended up staring at the text for some time before I felt a hand on my shoulder. I jumped from surprise and looked up to see who it was, and thankfully it was Cilla.
"You look spooked. Sorry if I surprised you." She worriedly looked at me.
"Oh no, it's fine. I'm just a bit jumpy these days..." I quickly pressed the power button so that Cilla wouldn't catch a glimpse of the message. "Let's go home?" I asked, to which she replied by holding my hand and nodding.
I feel butterflies in my stomach whenever we touch, but I try not to get swayed away by the feeling. This is all pretend, I strongly reminded myself. She's just trying to help you out, so don't be dumb and catch feelings! Even so, I can't say that I'm not enjoying her company so I'll cherish the small moments we have.
We reached my house and she took out her phone, handing it to me. The phone book application was open. "Let's swap phone numbers?" She asked.
"Oh yeah, sure." I proceeded to input the first few digits, but I forgot the last ones so I took my phone out to check my number. She must've caught a glimpse of the text message as she asked me, "I didn't mean to pry but are you sure you're okay? I think your ex is getting out of hand."
I couldn't answer her right away since I don't know what to do anymore. When I was still with Rori, I was powerless. Even when we split up, I'm still powerless.
"I'm here now, okay? We'll figure something out." She smiled at me which calmed my nerves. I finished putting in my number, then she named the contact. She showed me the screen combined with her cheeky smile, aggybb<3 on top of my phone number. Okay, that's actually really cute and my butterflies became a bunch of crows by how aggressive the feeling is.
I gave her my phone and she inputted her digits, and I named her as babe<3 which was the cheesiest, most common term of endearment I could think of. I showed it to her, and she chuckled. "Okay, baby, you should get inside now. I have to get home. Just text or call me if you need me okay?" She smiled and patted my head. I nodded. She went ahead and walked back to get home.
Stupid butterflies... I couldn't help but smile as I went inside.
