Chapter Two

7 Years Ago ( Jimin's pov)

Jimin was fuming when he stepped out of the classroom but his face instantly softened when he saw the alpha leaning against the wall beside the door waiting for him.

"Hey gorgeous!" Jungkook smiled, his eyes shining as he picked the smaller boy up and twirled him around. The omega giggled and pecked his lips. "What's gotten you so worked up?"

"It's nothing," Jimin muttered, his eyes downcast as his boyfriend set him down. A few passing students looked at them in envy and adoration.

Jungkook tapped his chin and lifted it up. "Hey, you know you can tell me anything, right?"

Jimin nodded.

"So what is it?"

"I got an A- on my last IT assignment and the teacher said I can't make up for it because finals are next week," Jimin pouted in disappointment.

Jungkook looked at him in disbelief and then chuckled and hugged the omega, kissing his hair.

Jimin relaxed into his embrace.

"Jimissi, everyone knows you're going to be the valedictorian, even the teachers. A- isn't as bad as it seems."

Jimin punched him softly with a little growl. "It will look ugly against all my straight A's."

"Babe, come on, live a little!" Jungkook laughed and clutched their hands together. "We only have this week and the next two weeks before we're no longer high school students. Let's make the best of it."

"Jungkookie..." Jimin whined as he was dragged by his hyper boyfriend out the main school doors. "I still have a lot to finish-"

"MINI!" His best friend yelled from his car. Jimin smiled when he saw Kim Taehyung, his best friend forever, jump down from his new Jeep and run towards them. Taehyung was a cuddler and he liked cuddles, so Jimin braced for impact before the taller omega engulfed him in a bear hug. "GODDESS KNOWS I MISSED YOUR FACE!"

Jimin laughed. "It was only two days, Tae... you were gone for two days."

"Three actually, if we're counting today too since I didn't see you all day," Taehyung pouted. He turned to Jungkook and nodded at the alpha. "Hey big guy, did you take care of my Mini well while I was away?"

Jungkook shook his head with a chuckle. "He's mine, Tae, you better find someone else soon."

Jimin laughed and slapped his boyfriend on the arm. "He's kidding, Tae, you know that right?"

"Of course!" Taehyung grinned. "Let's go get something to eat, Mimi. My treat. You're riding with me today."

"Hey! Not fair, I want my boyfriend back!" Jungkook faked annoyance.

Taehyung tapped his shoulder in fake sympathy. "Well too bad he's all mine this afternoon. You can run off now little alpha, shoo shoo."

Jungkook laughed. "Fine, but drop him off at my place when you're done with him. My mum probably cooked something nice...."

"Really!?" Jimin brightened. "What did she cook, Kookie?"

Jungkook smirked. "Me."

"Yahhh, you guys are so tooth-rotting fluff!" Taehyung laughed. "Come on, Min!"

Jimin kissed his boyfriend goodbye then skipped behind his best friend.

Jungkook watched him go with a smile. He thought he might be in love too soon.
