Chapter Eight

Jungkook fell down to his knees in the empty hospital bed when the door slammed shut

behind Jimin's retreating small frame.

He felt numb all over as if he was in a dream and he would wake up soon. He pinched his

skin to make sure this was really happening and hated the fact that he felt the sting on his

skin.

6 years... He had lost the only person he loved for six years and in those years, it was Ah-ria,

her little smile and her delightful giggles that kept Jungkook going. It was the Pup that kept

his world from collapsing at his feet, it was the Pup that kept him from letting the guilt of

what he thought he had done eat him alive and now this... This was like a bitch punch to his

guts. Why didn't he go when Seokjin had stopped for him? He didn't know, but he couldn't

bring himself to see the little pup, he couldn't even bring himself to be in the same room as

Taehyung. He just couldn't.

Jungkook leaned against the wall and let the tears he had been holding back fall down. What

was he going to do about Jimin? He couldn't even answer Jimin's questions properly. Did he

have an excuse why he didn't run after Jimin? Yes. Yes he did because how would he have

known what he did that night at the party when he was high and fucked up with booze? He

didn't even remember anything to this day, that's how fucked up his memories were from that

night and if a more sober person told you what you did, of course Jungkook had believed

what Taehyung had said but still that was no excuse, he could've done things

differently....but it was too late now, everything had already happened and this was the

present.

His phone buzzed and he saw that it was Taehyung. He contemplated not reading the texts

but he remembered that the omega was freaking out over him leaving their-No the Pup at

the Kim's mansion so he opened his phone and read the text messages.

By the time Jungkook had pocketed his phone, he was rushing out of the hospital on his way

to the front desk to ask where Mrs.Park was in the hospital.

The lady at the front desk told him Mrs Park had just been discharged a few minutes ago and

Jungkook nodded, thanking the lady before heading to the car park. He didn't know where

Jimin was staying but he was sure it was at his mum's house so he would go there. With the

way Taehyung had texted him, it seemed like Mrs Kim was planning something big and bad.

Taehyung's heart was in his throat as they arrived at the gates of the mansion. He was at the

back seats with Namjoon while Yoongi rode shotgun and Seokjin drove. The wolf standing

guard slowed them down, which a confused Seokjin did.

"What the fuck is the meaning of this?!"He growled at the when he arrived at the car.

"I'm sorry alpha", the guard apologized." The Luna has tightened the security on the mansion
