Visaena Hightower was a cunning and ruthless woman. But that was the only way she was able to protect her children. Being married off at a young age to a man three times her senior changed her. She was a sweet and kind girl in her youth, but every little experience forced her to toughen up. She didn't trust many, she didn't even trust her father.
Being married to the king of Celestria meant she had to produce him heirs. And she did. At the age of fifteen, she fell pregnant with his child. Then at sixteen, she gave birth to his daughter, who they named Eliana Targaryen. Daemon became mad when Visaena couldn't produce a male heir (she had 2 stillborn births after Eliana) so he began wars on neighboring planets, the only one to retaliate was Asgard. Celestria and Asgard had been allied for centuries until daemon the deranged. Daemon's cousin, Princess Rhaenys, rushed to Queen Visaena and her daughter helping them escape the planet before it crumbled under the wrath of Odin. Thankfully when the war was over and the opposing side won, Celestria was still intact, just without a crazed king to grace its presence.
Rhaenys had fled with a pregnant Visaena and Eliana to Earth, deeming it the only safe place for them, where nobody knew of their heritage their abilities, and what was outside of Earth's atmosphere. They arrived on Earth in the year 1940 Visaena was 24, and Eliana 2. Rhaenys had explained she created a cover for herself there when she was young, and that she frequently visited Earth and her allies there.
Rhaenys told her their cover story. Visaena was her niece visiting from England with her daughter. The woman had also mentioned, that humans were impotent enough to believe anything so they didn't have to make it too believable. The moment they arrived on earth, Visaena could feel the difference. She didn't feel the immense need to escape, the constant checking her daughter was safe. She finally felt ... free.
