𝐎𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜❦ 𝐉𝐮𝐣𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐮 𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧 (𝐉𝐉𝐊) 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐍𝐒𝐅𝐖 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭, 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

(𝐎𝐬¹) 𝐔𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐲 | nanami kento x reader

as always you've been waiting for nanami, your husband, to come home from work. Today was different tho, it was more important because you've cooked and entire dinner with his favorite foods which just made you even happier and more impatient.

as you wished, the door knob turned and he entered your apartment looking tired with those huge bags under his eyes.

"darling I'm home." He called out as you were already walking over to him excitedly.

"Oh? Did I miss something?" He asked with a curious look on his face as he seems to notice your energy. You just smiled to yourself.

"you'll see, kento"

Then you took off his necktie while he looked at you with literal heart eyes  -it really made you feel you were the prettiest woman in the world.

After that you took his hand and leaded him into the kitchen where you've already prepared the entire dinner, it all looked delicous.

"you did all of that?" nanami asked surprised but also happy as his stomach grumbled, now hungrier than before.

You just nod in response, still smiling proudly of yourself as you both sat to the table and started eating.

Just after two bites you asked him "uhm kento? How does it taste?"

"It's the best lasagna I've ever eaten, really I love it. I can literally taste your effort." He says quickly as he keeps eating hungrily.

"Tch be honest, please." You say looking a bit disgusted by the food.

"I am honest. The food tastes delicous." Kento says raising a brow at you.

"Honestly it tastes like shit to me. Can you try my plate?"

your husband hesitates for a second before he takes a few bites off your plate, still looking satisfied as ever.

"Tastes the same to me." He shrugs. You just look at the food a bit confused as you slowly keep eating again.

Well that was a mistake, because you shortly after just feel everything come up again. You quickly stood up from the table and ran to the bathroom, throwing up in the toilet.

As worried as nanami is, he follows you asap and holds back your head as he runs soothing circles on your back whispering comforting nothings.

"Shhh you're okay, I'm right here. Just let it all out"

once you're done throwing up, he wets a handkerchief and wipes your mouth and face with it before you start brushing your teeth to get the disgusting taste out of your mouth.

"have you gotten sick, love?" He asked concerned, you just shake your head in response. You both start thinking and thinking as both of your gazes fall on your stomach for a moment before you she eye contact.

"No, you don't think I'm-"

"I mean it's possible, altho we've been careful."

"I-I can't be-" you started panicking a bit, unsure of what to do. Nanami then comes closer placing one of his hands on your shoulder and the other one lifts your chin up so you look eachother deep into the eyes.

"Calm down. I'll get you a test tomorrow and you'll keep an eye on any symptoms, eating problems and everything that might be suspicious. Don't worry, I'm here by your side. Every step"

You just nodded slowly before kento kisses your forehead and embraces you tightly but safely in a protective manner rocking you slightly from side to side.

After a few minutes of silence, you then go sit at the table again where nanami finishes his food while you're just snacking a few fruits.

After all the dishes were cleaned you both go to bed tired, cuddling eachother to sleep while kento whispers sweet nothings into your ear.

Don't be positive, don't be positive

You thought and prayed as you were pacing around in the living room after making the pregnancy test. Your husband just leans against the kitchen counter looking at you worried.

Even if the test was positive, he wouldn't leave you or anything. And he knows that it'd be no problem financially, but he doesn't know how you'd take it.

You both wanted to wait a few more years to have a kid yourself, traveling the world as much as you can until that. But those plans might be ruined.

It's already been 20 minutes but you just couldn't go and see the test results, too scared to know what those are.

Now also the fact that you threw up again after breakfast made everything more tense.

"Sooner or later you'll have to look anyways. You know I won't leave you or anything, we'll get through it, together, no matter what the results are." kento then just said, trying to calm you down or soothe the situation.

You just nod before you go to the bathroom, grabbing the pregnancy test altho you're not looking at it.

"Hold my hand please" you say coming closer to nanami, instead he just wraps his arms around your waist pulling you close so now your back his pressed against his chest as he kisses the side of your head. Then slowly but surely you turn the test around...

2 lines. It's positive

Oh fuck, no no no, it can't be.

It's like the world has stopped as silent tears fall down your face as you just start sobbing and crying. Kento turns you around quickly so now he's hugging you while rubbing your back.  You're just crying into his chest while he whispers comforting things kissing your head multiple times.

It's not like you hated the baby or being pregnant, it was just an unexpected pregnancy.

You both moved to the sofa where you continued crying softly as you fell asleep in his arms. When you woke up again, you woke up to a huge bouquet of your favorite flowers, some cookies, matcha latte bubble tea and pregnancy guide book. He didn't think you needed it, he knew you were a natural good parents but he also knew it would calm you and kind of give you the support that he can't offer.

A few days after you went to the doctor to check that everything's alright.

However nanami supported you through it all, doing most of the chores and simply being there for you whenever you needed it.

Sure it wasn't easy, if you hadn't planned anything but with someone like him by your side, everything seemed way easier than it was.

That's what matters: the support of one another.
