Runaway
On our Railway. Our engines have specific jobs and places to be and do.
Boxford is a shunter for every station. He also sometimes does work on the branchline. Where Beatrice works at the Navy's harbour.Boxford didn't really like the shunting work he does. As Fordshire would normally boss him around. Ever since the class 46 or more commonly known as "The Red Arrow" for his Express runs and "Raymond" as the engines think its suits him it. Raymond however didn't boss Boxford around. Boxford liked this.
Boxford was shunting wagons at the colliery. He was whistling to himself when Raymond stopped at the station. "Oh hello Boxford!" Said Raymond. "Oh hi Raymond!" Said Boxford back. "Shunting cars I see?" "Well yes, Raymond they instructed us to take these up to this colliery up there." Boxford looked up the line there was an unfinished part where workers were building sidings track and buildings. "Apparently because of British railways we've had to have coal come from other countries. So they've started creating a bigger colliery to store it all." He finally explained. "Oh, well I hope you do it so well you'll get to settle on that branchline haha!" Said Raymond as he roared off. "Buh bye Boxford!" He said finally. "Goodbye!" Boxford said as he went back to shunting. An hour later Fordshire had came up from the harbour. "Oh god its you." Fordshire said in disgust. "Shut up! I'm only looking grimy coz of this coal."Said Boxford. "Dirty tank engines always means dirty sidings." Boxford rolled his eyes. "Hmph, well I'm going to have to go, toodles!" And Fordshire steamed away. The next day Boxford was at the unfinished station at the end of the line. Boxford was dropping off rocks and materials at Collsdale. "We've got to get some more wood down at Allerby Quay." Said Boxfords driver, Boxfords drivers name was Derek.A few minutes had gone by and Boxford was waiting for his firemen when Fordshire came back up the line."What're you doing here. You dirty tank engine?" "Waiting for the trucks to be shunted behind me. Ah, there's Beatrice now!" Beatrice shunted the trucks behind him with her effort. The guards whistle blew and Boxfords whistle blew. "Goodbye my fellow idiots!" He puffed away with the trucks giggling and laughing aswell. "Ya do know Fordshire that if your nice Boxfo-" "I don't want to hear it if he's cheeky to me I will be cheeky to him." Said Fordshire Truthfully. Beatrice sighed and went back to shunting. Soon Fordshire started off with his passenger train. He was going down the line when he heard the guards whistle. "Did you hear that?" Said his Firemen. "Hm I did. Right, shut off steam we are gonna need to stop at Shenton." Then, some cars with no engine rocketed by! "What was that?!" Said Fordshire. Fordshire abruptly stopped to the noises of shocked passengers. Meanwhile at Collsdale Beatrice was busily shunting when the noises of men and the starionmaster came rushing through into the signalbox. Beatrice then saw points switch directly to her line. Then she saw car's rushing through in the distance. "Oh god Beatrice CMON CMON!" Said her Driver as he hesitantly made her go forward onto the transfer table it was any second now that the car's would crash. The table keeper rushed as he took the transfer table to the left Just in time. The cats crashed right into the well.
