she walked into the library, all eyes already on her. she didn't even have to try, her european appearance was all she needed to get everyone's attention, which she didn't want many times. before she could say anything, even greet her good friend, she got questions from many people about many things, which made her uncomfortable.

meanwhile, yuta darted his gaze at her too, but it was different than other's gazes. his gaze was confused and even uncomfortable. he hated her, with all he had. with every part of his body, he felt disgusted by how much attention she got just for her appearance, he couldn't stand it.
he clenched his fists, the skin on his knuckles getting lighter than the rest of his skin.
"i don't see why you would hate her so much." jaehyun added a note to his behaviour. yuta looked towards jaehyun and frowned: "just look at her, she acts like nothing but she's fake inside." he said from under his breath. he just kept gazing at her, with the frown she always got from him.
"she's not that bad, actually. i talked to her and-" but before he could finish his sentence, johnny stopped him. "you talk about her too much." he didn't even forget to roll his eyes and yuta smirked. "thanks, johnny!" he chuckled arrogantly.

it didn't take much time until gabrielle realised yuta kept looking at her the whole time. it felt weird, her heartbeat increased, and her lips were left open a bit as their gazes met. but she knew he hated her so much which she didn't know why. keeping herself from him was the best decision and so she looked away and smiled at the person who made a joke even though she didn't hear even a bit of it. and yuta's mouth just left a silent and sarcastic chuckle.

as the day passed, yuta just sat bored in one of the classrooms with his friends. this was his favourite part of the day, just slacking around the university, minding his own business. but this mood was dead and gone when he heard:
"yuta!" a feminine voice coming from afar. the classroom was indeed enormous, but he still heard clearly. he peeked in the direction of the voice and saw chaewon.
chaewon was a popular personality in this university. she was known for being very kind, but also because she kept trying to get yuta like many other girls.
yuta just exhaled and waited for her to come closer, and when she did, she handed him a book. "a new manga!" she was so happy she had something to please him with and maybe, yuta would appreciate her more. but he just examined the book, looked at a few pages and closed it with his gaze travelling to her eyes. "right." was all he said and handed the book to chaewon. that made johnny chuckle, chaewon just looked at him with a frown and then looked at yuta with a smile.
"you won't read it?" she raised her eyebrows. and this time, yuta examined her better - she had her long curly hair loose along her body with beautiful curves. her lips were full and her face was also decorated with big eyes and a beauty mark. she was a beautiful woman and adored by many men, except yuta.
"no, I won't." yuta said coldly and looked away from her to his phone, browsing instagram like she wasn't in front of him waiting for some praise.
chaewon sighed loudly. "you know, yuta, you're challenging to catch." she said and sat next to him, looking over his shoulder at his phone. yuta just frowned and closed the phone. "and you're annoying." he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms on his muscular chest. she couldn't help but stare - like many other girls did.

yuta was uncatchable, like the butterfly he got tattooed on his lower belly. he always chose girls for one night and then never replied on their texts afterwards. that was his life and he loved it, or maybe he even lied to himself. maybe that's what yuta disliked about gabrielle so much - her life, her social skills, because deep down he was just jealous that she was the real uncatchable butterfly. after all, she caught him a long ago and he didn't want to admit it.
