Nico's Pov 💀💀💀
When Will suggested we go for archery, I was shocked.
"I thought I was supposed to be in the infirmary for three days straight!"
"I didn't mean that like that. I meant that you need to recover for three days in the infirmary so technically you can go outside with my supervision. Cause if u don't we can stay here in the infirmary for 2 more days," Will smirked.
"NO! I mean I would like to go for archery," I clear my throat. Most of my wounds have cleared up so I should be able to lift a bow and arrow.... We will see about my aiming though.
Will takes me to the archery range and throws me a quiver of arrows and a bow to me. I fumble with them but manage to knock an arrow in the bow.
Will appears behind me and gently lifts my bow and positions my arms and feet. His touch is feather-light and warm against my cool skin.
"Ready?" I nod and we shoot. The arrow strikes the bullseye. I grin, only Will can make me feel these emotions of happiness.
I hear footsteps on the concrete floor of the range. Percy snickers.
"Well hello there, Nico and Will!", He smirks, "Having fun you two?"
I look back at Percy with annoyance.
"What do you want, Percy?"
"Oh nothing... just came to see how our fav medic is doing," He says looking at Will and me. I realise that Will and I am still in a back to chest position with the bow. I blush furiously and step away. Will is blushing as well but he doesn't seem annoyed... he is grinning and he looks so angelic.
"Percy?"
"Yeah?"
"Leave!"
"Ok! Ok! Geez dude no need to be possessive over ur sunny boyfriend." He snickers before turning away and going over to the Athena cabin.
I am still a blushing mess. Will smiles at me but doesn't deny anything...
"Now try it without my help?" Will asks me and I nod. He takes a step back and I knock an arrow before shooting. I miss the target and grunt in frustration.
"Hey, it's ok... it's your first time so don't worry. Ok?"
I nod, my lips pursed.
We practise a bit more before returning to the infirmary.
