Currently it's 8 in the morning and I'm ready for my First Day of office. I got a text from Riana that she'll be here in a few minutes. So I started to hurry.

And also it's been two day. Two whole days that I haven't stepped out of my room and they didn't care.

Jaya maa tried to talk to me but I didn't wanted to talk to anyone. I was laying in my room like a corpse for two days.

But now I need to get up. I'm finally ready. I'm wearing a kurti with Jean styled with my favorite pair of Jhumkaas. My hairs in a messy bun.

They must have left the house too. So I made my way downstairs.

Coming down I saw jaya maa going back to the kitchen so I followed her.

Bhoooo...

I shouted near her ears and my sensitive jaya maa got scared. Her right hand on her heart as she's breathing heavily.

Her expressions were worth it. A giggle left my mouth as she slapped me on my shoulder.

"What do you do Pari, you scared me" She complained.

"Sorry jaya maa. I was just playing around" I said as her eyes became moist as she hugged me.

We pulled out from the hug as she spoke.

"Are you okay pari. I know it's stupid of me to ask. You know how much worried I was for you" She said cupping my face.

"I know jaya maa. But it.. It was hard for me to come and look at those faces" I said as a test escaped my eyes and I harshly wiped it off.

"Okay.. Let it be. Tell me where are you going" She asked lighting the tensed air.

"Office" I said.

"They know?" She questioned.

"No" I said shrugging my shoulders.

"But Pari you know it won't be good if they'll get to know" She said with a concern.

"It's fine jaya maa. Now I'm determined and I won't back off" I said.

Before she could speak further my phone rang.

"You here" I asked picking up the call.

"Yahh. Just where you wanted me to be. Now come fast or else we'll be late on our first day" She said.

"Yahh I'll be there in a minute" I said and hung up.

"Okay jaya maa. I need to go bye" I said, I was about to go when she stopped me and moved to the kitchen telling me to wait.

"Jaya maa, I'm running late. Come fast naa" I called.

"Coming, coming" She said as she finally stepped out of the kitchen with a bowl in her hand and offered it to me.

"What is this now Jaya naa" I asked.

"Dahi-cheeni, phela din hai tera office mein ye khake jayegi toh sab acha hoga" She said.

(Dahi-cheeni, if you have it on your first day at the office, everything will go well.)

"You now na, I don't believe in all this" I said.

"Just a spoon pari. For your Jaya maa, please" She pleased and I agreed.

She took a spoonful of Dahi-Cheeni and fed me with her own hands.

"I'll meet you in the evening now bye" I said and rushed outside.

I walked to were Raina was waiting for me.
