Here I am, thinking of you
Every now and then
Wondering if it's too real
Or if it were too fast to healHere I am, thinking of what I became
That a broken wing is just as exciting
Wondering if it all will be the same
Whilst still knowing time should be spent abidingHere I am, thinking of us
With this drowning trust
Wondering if it were worth the wait
Or if the fall was too greatHere I am, thinking of what was
And with this life slowly fading
Wondering where the fire lay the dusk
While knowing, it, lost meaningHere I am wondering
In and out of my own head
Thinking life should make some sense
When fully knowing it's just nonsense.
