One of the favourite lessons reading books has taught me is that you're never alone, not alteast in thoughts and words. There are others who think like you, feel like you and react like you. It's like that sometimes, our unspoken thoughts are the bridges that connect us, even though we might be miles apart. And so, I've written them down in the hope that there are many out there in this world who would be willing to walk these bridges leading to me-the real, raw and unhidden self I am- my heart and mind and soul. The Mood of a Broken Mind This is a collection of poetry inspired by the feelings plaguing my soul.

A (rather another) collection of poems... Various forms and rhymes. __________________________________________________ Enso is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning circle, or sometimes, circle of togetherness. It is traditionally drawn using only one brushstroke as a meditative practice in letting go of the mind and allowing the body to create, as the singular brushstroke allows for no modifications. While at first glance, the enso symbol appears no more than a misshapen circle, it symbolizes many things: the beauty in imperfection, the art of letting go of expectations, the circle of life, and connection. The enso is a manifestation of the artist at the moment of creation and the acceptance of our innermost self. It symbolizes strength, elegance, and one-mindedness.

How much you've escaped reality, Is what remains of your sanity. If fantasy is what you long, Then why not go to where you truly belong? Tis within this book, are the words filled with the whims of a mere fool.

My final portfolio for one of the creative writing courses I took based around exploring the creative nonfiction essay in its many literary forms, with any and all identifying names or signifiers censored out. (Note: The author's preface was written with the intention of only being read by my professor, who had already read each rough draft of every piece, but I left it intact because I felt it set the tone of the collection quite well)

Humans can't converse as deeply as you think, and so sadness begins to love you, but I'd make sure you don't drown in it. The world moves too fast to notice your silence, yet I will sit with it, holding the space you need, and even when the shadows press too close, I will light a candle that keeps you afloat.

I wrote several of them inspired by people's experiences and some are just the product of my imagination. I mainly wrote them hoping people might learn something from the musings and ruminations I had in life.
