After the morning kiss, Payu was much happier than usual. He loved his Rainy boy so much, but the sexual tension between them was increasing day by day. Early that morning, they were so close to sharing a romantic French kiss, but Sky spoiled the moment. It was okay; he couldn't blame Sky for that. Anyhow, he just wanted the day to end faster, but time seemed to move so slowly for Payu. 😩 Back to work, he finished everything, and when all was going well, he wondered why he still needed to work overtime. They had a late-night client meeting, and he was eager to see Rain. However, by the time he got home, Rain was fast asleep. He was disappointed. 😔 He wished to steal a few more kisses but saw Rain in a tired state at the table. So, he freshened up, moved Rain to bed, tucked him in, and went to sleep. The following day, Rain had early classes again and left in a hurry before Payu could talk about the kisses. This time, Rain left him a breakfast note and a box. Payu couldn't stop himself from smiling. 😊 His workers, who always saw him stern at work, wondered what deal he had cracked that made him so happy. They worried they might be in trouble for a work overload, but Payu never overworked them. There was once a situation where their boss made them extra attentive for a delivery on short notice, but he paid a bonus and sponsored them a paid holiday afterward. It was a horrible time seeing Payu in that state, and now they were just worried about what their boss was up to, thinking what storm was brewing under his silent, charming self who seemed happier than usual. 🌩️
Saifah joined in the noon for a meeting and overheard the employees talk, wondering himself. He listened to them saying how Payu was showing more reactions than usual and how his workers feared a storm brewing under his unusual behavior. He facepalmed, thinking it was related to his brother-in-law somehow. As usual, he called Pai for lunch after the meeting, and they ended up having their usual talk.
Payu: "So, what's with the sudden show of Pai the great? I don't think there is a race nearby or any new gear delivery."
Pai: "I don't only meet you for races, you know. You are my good friend."
Payu raised his eyebrow.
Payu: "Says the one who once left my side just to hook up."
Pai: "You could manage yourself that day by yourself, and don't say as if you think I will not be there when you are in need."
Payu: "Right. Anyway, why is my friend all glowing?"
Pai: "I have some good plans for the day. Anyway, gotta go."
Payu: "I thought you were staying for lunch."
Pai: "Oh, I have a lunch plan with my nong. I just dropped by to give these files Pa told you to check them"
Payu: "So you came for the files very good and anyhow Nong?"
Pai: "Well, Sky said they had only a presentation class early today, so I thought to pick him up for lunch."
Saifah: "Only lunch?"
Pai: "Well, only lunch."
Saifah to Payu: "He seems serious. Am I dreaming? Is he Pai or a doppelganger? I can't believe it is our Pai."
Payu: "Well, Saifah, you must be responsible. Don't make fun of him. You are grown-up; you manage garages. That doesn't mean you will neglect our company. Be more responsible."
Saifah: "Well, I will, but what happened all of a sudden? You seem strange."
Payu: "What? I am asking you to be more focused."
